Ayyub narrated, ‘the worst of three (persons riding one, animal) was mentioned in Ikrima's presence. Ikrima said that Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘in the year of the conquest of Mecca, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came and mounted Qutham ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) in front of him and Al-Fadl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) behind him, or Qutham ( رضئ هللا تعالیعنہ) behind him and Al-Fadl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) in front of him.’ Now which of them was the worst off and which was the best?’
حضرت ایوب سے روایت ہے کہ عکرمہ کے پاس ذکر کیا گیا کہ ایک سواری پر تین آدمیوں کا بیٹھنا بہت معیوب ہے تو انہوں نے کہا: حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لائے جبکہ قثم کو آگے اور فضل کو اپنے پیچھے بٹھائے ہوئے تھے یا اس کے برعکس فضل کو آگے اور قثم کو پیچھے بٹھایا تھا۔ اب ان میں سے کون برا ہے اور کون اچھا ہے؟
Hazrat Ayub se riwayat hai ke Akrama ke paas zikr kiya gaya ke ek sawari par teen aadmiyon ka baithna bahut mayoob hai to unhone kaha: Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne bayan kiya hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tashreef laye jabke Qusam ko aage aur Fazal ko apne peeche bithaaye hue thay ya is ke bar-aks Fazal ko aage aur Qusam ko peeche bithaya tha. Ab in mein se kaun bura hai aur kaun achha hai?
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، ذُكِرَ شَرُّ الثَّلَاثَةِ عِنْدَ عِكْرِمَةَ ، فَقَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ حَمَلَ قُثَمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَالْفَضْلَ خَلْفَهُ ، أَوْ قُثَمَ خَلْفَهُ وَالْفَضْلَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَأَيُّهُمْ شَرٌّ أَوْ أَيُّهُمْ خَيْرٌ .
