Narrated Salim: that his father said; When Allah's Apostle mentioned wh at he mentioned about (the hanging of) the Izar (waist sheet), Abu Bakr said, O Allah's Apostle! My Izar slackens on one side (without my intention). The Prophet said, You are not among those (who, out of pride) drag their Izars behind them.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے جب تہبند لٹکانے کے متعلق کچھ فرمایا تو حضرت ابوبکر صدیق ؓ نے عرض کی: اللہ کے رسول! میرا تہبند ایک طرف سے نیچھے ڈھلک جاتا ہے آپ نے فرمایا: ”تم تکبر کرنے والوں میں سے نہیں ہو۔“
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne jab tehband latkane ke mutaliq kuch farmaya to Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne arz ki: Allah ke Rasul! Mera tehband ek taraf se neeche dhalak jata hai aap ne farmaya: "Tum takabbur karne walon mein se nahi ho."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ ذَكَرَ فِي الْإِزَارِ مَا ذَكَرَ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ إِزَارِي يَسْقُطُ مِنْ أَحَدِ شِقَّيْهِ قَالَ : إِنَّكَ لَسْتَ مِنْهُمْ .
