Ibn Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘give the shares of the inheritance that are prescribed in the Qur'an to those who are entitled to receive it. Then whatever remains, should be given to the closest male relative of the deceased.’
حضرت ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے وہ نبی ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں آپ نے فرمایا: ”مقرر حصے ان کے حقداروں تک پہنچا دو اور جو باقی بچے وہ میت کے سب سے زیادہ قریبی مرد کے لیے ہے۔“
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai wo Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se bayan karte hain Aap ne farmaya: "Muqarrar hisse un ke haq-daron tak pahuncha do aur jo baaki bache wo mayyit ke sab se zyada qareebi mard ke liye hai."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا ، فَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ لِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ .
