Narrated `Aisha: Abu Bakr came to me while Allah's Apostle was sleeping with his head on my thigh. Abu Bakr said (to me), You have detained Allah's Apostle and the people, and there is no water in this place. So he admonished me and struck my flanks with his hand, and nothing could stop me from moving except the reclining of Allah's Apostle (on my thigh), and then Allah revealed the Divine Verse of Tayammum.
سیدہ عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: حضرت ابوبکر صدیق ؓ آئے جبکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ میری ران پر اپنا سر رکھے ہوئے تھے۔ انہوں نے آتے ہی کہا: تو نے رسول اللہ ﷺ اور دیگر لوگوں کو روک رکھا ہے حالانکہ یہاں پانی وغیرہ کا بندوبست نہیں ہے چنانچہ وہ مجھ پر سخت ناراض ہوئے اور اپنے ترچھے ہاتھ سے میری کوکھ کو مارنے لگے مگر میں نے اپنے جسم میں کسی طرح کی حرکت نہ ہونے دی کیونکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ (میری گود میں سر رکھے) محو استراحت تھے۔ پھر اللہ تعالٰی نے آیت تیمم نازل فرمائی۔
Sayyida Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai unhone farmaya: Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (Radi Allahu Anhu) aaye jabke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) meri raan par apna sar rakkhe hue thay. Unhone aate hi kaha: Tu ne Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aur digar logon ko rok rakha hai halanke yahan pani waghera ka bandobast nahi hai chunanche wo mujh par sakht naraz hue aur apne tirche hath se meri kokh ko maarne lage magar main ne apne jism mein kisi tarah ki harkat na hone di kyunke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) (meri god mein sar rakkhe) mahv-e-istirahath thay. Phir Allah Ta'ala ne ayat-e-tayammum nazil farmayi.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : جَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعٌ رَأْسَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِي ، فَقَالَ : حَبَسْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالنَّاسَ وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى مَاءٍ ، فَعَاتَبَنِي وَجَعَلَ يَطْعُنُ بِيَدِهِ فِي خَاصِرَتِي ، وَلَا يَمْنَعُنِي مِنَ التَّحَرُّكِ ، إِلَّا مَكَانُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ آيَةَ التَّيَمُّمِ .
