Chapter: The Talk of the Lord with Jibril and Allah’s Call for the angels

باب كَلاَمِ الرَّبِّ مَعَ جِبْرِيلَ وَنِدَاءِ اللَّهِ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ

Sahih al-Bukhari 7485

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, If Allah loves a person, He calls Gabriel, saying, 'Allah loves so and so, O Gabriel love him' So Gabriel would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens: 'Allah has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.' So all the dwellers of the Heavens would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth. (See Hadith No. 66, Vol. 8)

سیدنا ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ جب کسی بندے سے محبت کرتا ہے تو حضرت جبرئیل ؑ کو آواز دیتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فلاں سے محبت کرتا ہے تم بھی اس سے محبت کرو، تو حضرت جبرئیل ؑ آسمان مین اعلان کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فلاں آدمی سے محبت کرتا ہے تم بھی اس سے محبت کرو چنانچہ آسمان والے بھی اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں۔ پھر اس کی مقبولیت زمین والوں پر رکھ دی جاتی ہے۔

Sayyidna Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: Allah Ta'ala jab kisi bande se mohabbat karta hai to Hazrat Jibrail (Alaihis Salam) ko awaz deta hai ke Allah Ta'ala falan se mohabbat karta hai tum bhi us se mohabbat karo, to Hazrat Jibrail (Alaihis Salam) aasman mein elaan karte hain ke Allah Ta'ala falan aadmi se mohabbat karta hai tum bhi us se mohabbat karo, chunanche aasman wale bhi us se mohabbat karte hain. Phir us ki maqbooliyat zameen walon par rakh di jati hai.

حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا نَادَى جِبْرِيلَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلَانًا ، فَأَحِبَّهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ، ثُمَّ يُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي السَّمَاءِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلَانًا ، فَأَحِبُّوهُ ، فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ ، وَيُوضَعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ .

Sahih al-Bukhari 7486

Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) said, ‘there are angels coming to you in succession at night, and others during the day, and they all gather at the time of Asr and Fajr prayers. Then the angels who have stayed with you overnight ascend (to the heaven) and He (Allah) asks them though He perfectly knows their affairs; 'in what state have you left my servants?' They say, 'when we left them, they were praying and when we came to them they were praying.'

سیدنا ابو ہریرہ ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تمہارے پاس رات اور دن کے فرشتے یکے بعد دیگرے آتے ہیں اور عصر وفجر کی نمازوں میں وہ اکھٹے ہوتے ہیں۔ پھر وہ فرشتے جو تم میں رات گزارتے ہیں جب اوپر جاتے ہیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے پوچھتا ہے حالانکہ وہ بندوں کے احوال سے خوب واقف ہے تم نے میرے بندوں کو کس حال میں چھوڑا ہے؟ وہ جواب دیتے ہیں: ہم نے انہیں اس حال میں چھوڑا کہ وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور جب ان کے پاس گئے تھے تو بھی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔“

Sayyidna Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Tumhare pas raat aur din ke farishte yakke baad digare aate hain aur Asr-o-Fajr ki namazon mein woh ikhatte hote hain. Phir woh farishte jo tum mein raat guzarte hain jab oopar jate hain to Allah Ta'ala un se poochta hai halanke woh bandon ke ahwal se khoob waqif hai: Tum ne mere bandon ko kis haal mein chhorha hai? Woh jawab dete hain: Hum ne unhein is haal mein chhorha ke woh namaz parh rahe thay aur jab un ke pas gaye thay to bhi namaz parh rahe thay."

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : يَتَعَاقَبُونَ فِيكُمْ مَلَائِكَةٌ بِاللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةٌ بِالنَّهَارِ ، وَيَجْتَمِعُونَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ وَصَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ ، ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ الَّذِينَ بَاتُوا فِيكُمْ فَيَسْأَلُهُمْ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ كَيْفَ تَرَكْتُمْ عِبَادِي ؟ ، فَيَقُولُونَ : تَرَكْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ وَأَتَيْنَاهُمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ .

Sahih al-Bukhari 7487

Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, Jibreel ( عليهالسالم) came to me and gave me the glad tidings that anyone who died without worshipping anything besides Allah, would enter Paradise. I asked him, 'even if he committed theft, and even if he committed illegal sexual intercourse?' He said, 'yes, even if he committed theft, and even if he committed illegal sexual intercourse.’

سیدنا ابو ذر ؓ سے روایت ہے وہ نبی ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ”میرے پاس سیدنا جبرئیل ؑ آئے اور مجھے خوشخبری دی کہ جو شخص اس حالت میں فوت ہو جائے کہ وہ کسی کو اللہ کے ساتھ شریک نہیں ٹھہراتا تھا تو وہ جنت میں جائے گا۔“ میں نے عرض کیا :اگرچہ وہ چوری زنا کا مرتکب ہو؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”گو وہ چوری زنا کا مرتکب ہو۔“

Sayyidna Abu Zar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai woh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap ne farmaya: "Mere pas Sayyidna Jibrail (Alaihis Salam) aaye aur mujhe khush-khabri di ke jo shakhs is haalat mein faut ho jaye ke woh kisi ko Allah ke saath shareek nahi thehrata tha to woh jannat mein jayega." Main ne arz kiya: Agarche woh chori-zina ka murtakib ho? Aap ne farmaya: "Go woh chori-zina ka murtakib ho."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ ، عَنْ الْمَعْرُورِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ ، فَبَشَّرَنِي أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، قُلْتُ : وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، وَإِنْ زَنَى ، قَالَ : وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، وَإِنْ زَنَى .
