Sahih al-Bukhari 1063
Abu Bakra (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that during the lifetime of the Allah's Apostle (صلى ہللا ع ليهو آله وسلم) the sun eclipsed, and he went out dragging his clothes till he reached the Mosque. The people gathered around him and he led them and offered two rak`a. When the sun (eclipse) cleared, he said, ‘the sun and the moon are two signs among the signs of Allah; they do not eclipse because of the death of someone, and so when an eclipse occurs, pray and supplicate to Allah till the eclipse is over.’ It happened that a son of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) called Ibrahim (عليه السالم) died on that day and the people were talking about that (saying that the eclipse was caused by his death).
حضرت ابوبکرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی ﷺ کی حیات طیبہ میں سورج گہن ہوا تو آپ اپنی چادر کو گھسیٹتے ہوئے باہر تشریف لائے یہاں تک کہ مسجد میں پہنچ گئے۔ لوگ آپ کے پاس جمع ہو گئے۔ آپ نے انہیں دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں۔ جب سورج روشن ہو گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ’’سورج اور چاند اللہ کی (عظمت کی) نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں۔ یہ کسی کے مرنے کی بنا پر بےنور نہیں ہوتے۔ جب ایسا ہو تو نماز پڑھو اور اللہ سے دعا کرو حتی کہ گرہن ختم ہو جائے۔‘‘ چونکہ نبی ﷺ کے لخت جگر سیدنا ابراہیم ؓ کا انتقال ہوا تھا جس کی بنا پر لوگوں نے چہ میگوئیاں کرنا شروع کر دی تھیں، اس لیے آپ نے اس کی وضاحت فرمائی۔
Hazrat Abu Bakrah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki hayat-e-tayyiba mein suraj gahan hua to Aap apni chadar ko ghaseet-te hue bahar tashreef laye yahan tak ke masjid mein pahunch gaye. Log Aap ke pas jama ho gaye. Aap ne unhein do raktein parhaein. Jab suraj roshan ho gaya to Aap ne farmaya: ''Suraj aur chand Allah ki (azmat ki) nishaniyon mein se do nishaniyan hain. Ye kisi ke marne ki bina par be-noor nahi hote. Jab aisa ho to namaz parho aur Allah se dua karo hatta ke gahan khatam ho jaye.'' Chunke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke lakht-e-jigar Sayyiduna Ibrahim (Radi Allahu Anhu) ka intiqal hua tha jis ki bina par logon ne che-migoiyan karna shuru kar di thin, is liye Aap ne is ki wazahat farmai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ يَجُرُّ رِدَاءَهُ حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَثَابَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَانْجَلَتِ الشَّمْسُ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ ، وَإِنَّهُمَا لَا يَخْسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَإِذَا كَانَ ذَاكَ فَصَلُّوا وَادْعُوا حَتَّى يُكْشَفَ مَا بِكُمْ وَذَاكَ ، أَنَّ ابْنًا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَاتَ يُقَالُ لَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ : فَقَالَ النَّاسُ فِي ذَاكَ .
