Ata' bin Yasar reported that he asked Zaid bin Thabit (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) about prostration on which he said that he had recited An-Najm before the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), yet he (the Prophet ﷺ) did not perform prostration.
حضرت عطاء بن یسار سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے حضرت زید بن ثابت ؓ سے (سجدہ تلاوت کے متعلق) پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے نبی ﷺ کے سامنے سورہ نجم پڑھی تھی لیکن آپ نے اس میں سجدہ نہیں کیا۔
Hazrat Ata bin Yasar se riwayat hai, unhon ne Hazrat Zaid bin Sabit (Radi Allahu Anhu) se (sajda-e-tilawat ke mutaliq) pucha to unhon ne farmaya: Mein ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke samne Surah Najm parhi thi lekin Aap ne is mein sajda nahi kiya.
حدثنا سليمان بن داود ابو الربيع ، قال : حدثنا إسماعيل بن جعفر ، قال : اخبرنا يزيد بن خصيفة ، عن ابن قسيط ، عن عطاء بن يسار ، انه اخبره ، انه سال زيد بن ثابت رضي الله عنه ، فزعم انه قرا على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والنجم فلم يسجد فيها .
