Sahih al-Bukhari 1203
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘the saying 'Subhanallah’ is for men and clapping is for women.’ (If something happens in the prayer, the men can invite the attention of the Imam by saying ‘Subhanallah’, and women, by clapping their hands).
حضرت ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، وہ نبی ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ’’(نماز میں اگر کوئی حادثہ پیش آ جائے تو) مردوں کے لیے سبحان اللہ کہنا اور عورتوں کے لیے تالی بجانا ہے۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, wo Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap ne farmaya: ''(Namaz mein agar koi hadisa pesh aa jaye to) mardon ke liye Subhan-Allah kehna aur auraton ke liye tali bajana hai.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ .
