Sahih al-Bukhari 1215
Sahl bin Sa`d (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the people used to offer the prayer with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) with their waist-sheets tied round their necks because of the shortness of the sheets and the women were ordered not to lift their heads till the men had sat straight.
حضرت سہل بن سعد ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ نماز پڑھتے تھے جبکہ وہ اپنی چادروں کو ان کے چھوٹا ہونے کی وجہ سے اپنی گردن پر باندھے ہوتے۔ ان حالات میں عورتوں سے کہا جاتا: ’’تم اپنے سر (سجدے سے) مت اٹھاؤ حتی کہ مرد سیدھے ہو کر بیٹھ جائیں۔‘‘
Hazrat Sahl bin Saad (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Log Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke humrah namaz parhte thay jabke wo apni chadaron ko un ke chota hone ki wajah se apni gardan par bandhe hote. In halat mein auraton se kaha jata: ''Tum apne sar (sajde se) mat uthao hatta ke mard seedhe ho kar baith jayein.''
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : كَانَ النَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُمْ عَاقِدُو أُزْرِهِمْ مِنَ الصِّغَرِ عَلَى رِقَابِهِمْ ، فَقِيلَ لِلنِّسَاءِ : لَا تَرْفَعْنَ رُءُوسَكُنَّ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ الرِّجَالُ جُلُوسًا .
