Sahih al-Bukhari 1586
Narrated Yazid bin Ruman from `Urwa: `Aisha said that the Prophet said to her, O Aisha! Were your nation not close to the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance, I would have had the Ka`ba demolished and would have included in it the portion which had been left, and would have made it at a level with the ground and would have made two doors for it, one towards the east and the other towards the west, and then by doing this it would have been built on the foundations laid by Abraham. That was what urged Ibn-Az-Zubair to demolish the Ka`ba. Jazz said, I saw Ibn-Az-Zubair when he demolished and rebuilt the Ka`ba and included in it a portion of Al-Hijr (the unroofed portion of Ka`ba which is at present in the form of a compound towards the northwest of the Ka`ba). I saw the original foundations of Abraham which were of stones resembling the humps of camels. So Jarir asked Yazid, Where was the place of those stones? Jazz said, I will just now show it to you. So Jarir accompanied Yazid and entered Al-Hijr, and Jazz pointed to a place and said, Here it is. Jarir said, It appeared to me about six cubits from Al-Hijr or so.
حضرت عائشہ ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا: ’’اگر تیری قوم کا زمانہ جاہلیت ابھی تازہ نہ ہوتا تو میں کعبہ کو منہدم کرکے جو حصہ ا س سے خارج کردیا گیاتھا اس کو پھر اس میں شامل کردیتا اور اس کا دروازہ زمین سے متصل کردیتا۔ نیز اس میں ایک شرقی اور ایک غربی دو دروازے بنادیتا۔ الغرض میں اسے حضرت ابراہیم ؑ کی بنیادوں کے مطابق استوار کرتا۔‘‘ (راوی حدیث کہتا ہے کہ) یہ وہ حدیث ہے جس نے حضرت عبداللہ بن زبیر ؓ کو بیت اللہ کے گرانے پر آمادہ کیا تھا۔ یزید کہتے ہیں کہ میری موجودگی میں حضرت ابن زبیر ؓ نے اسے گرایا اور بنایا تھا انھوں نے اس میں حطیم کو بھی شامل کردیا تھا۔ میں نے ابراہیمی ؑ بنیادوں کے پتھر دیکھے ہیں جو اونٹ کی کوہان جیسے تھے۔ جریرکہتے ہیں: میں نے یزید سے عرض کیا کہ اس جگہ کی نشاندہی کریں کہ کہاں ہے؟انھوں نے فرمایا: میں ابھی تمھیں دکھاتا ہوں۔ چنانچہ میں ان کے ہمراہ حطیم میں داخل ہوا تو انھوں نے ایک جگہ کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہا: یہ وہ جگہ ہے جریر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے بیت اللہ کی دیوار سے چھ گز یا اس کے قریب قریب اندازہ کیا ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) hi se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un se farmaya: ''Agar teri qaum ka zamana jahiliyat abhi taza na hota to main Kaaba ko muna'dim kar ke jo hissa is se kharij kar diya gaya tha is ko phir is mein shamil kar deta aur is ka darwaza zameen se muttasil kar deta. Neez is mein ek sharqi aur ek gharbi do darwaze bana deta. Al-gharz main ise Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) ki bunyadon ke mutabiq ustawaar karta.'' (Rawi-e-hadith kehta hai ke) yeh wo hadith hai jis ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair (Radi Allahu Anhu) ko Baitullah ke girane par aamada kiya tha. Yazid kehte hain ke meri maujoodgi mein Hazrat Ibn Zubair (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne ise giraya aur banaya tha unhon ne is mein Hateem ko bhi shamil kar diya tha. Main ne Ibrahimi (Alaihis Salam) bunyadon ke patthar dekhe hain jo ount ki kohan jaise thay. Jarir kehte hain: Main ne Yazid se arz kiya ke is jagah ki nishandahi karein ke kahan hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Main abhi tumhein dikhata hoon. Chunancha main un ke hamrah Hateem mein dakhil hua to unhon ne ek jagah ki taraf ishara karte hue kaha: Yeh wo jagah hai. Jarir kehte hain ke main ne Baitullah ki diwar se chey gaz ya is ke qareeb qareeb andaza kiya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا بَيَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ رُومَانَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لَهَا : يَا عَائِشَةُ ، لَوْلَا أَنَّ قَوْمَكِ حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِجَاهِلِيَّةٍ ، لَأَمَرْتُ بالبيت فَهُدِمَ ، فَأَدْخَلْتُ فِيهِ مَا أُخْرِجَ مِنْهُ وَأَلْزَقْتُهُ بِالْأَرْضِ ، وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُ بَابَيْنِ بَابًا شَرْقِيًّا وَبَابًا غَرْبِيًّا فَبَلَغْتُ بِهِ أَسَاسَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي حَمَلَ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَلَى هَدْمِهِ , قَالَ يَزِيدُ : وَشَهِدْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حِينَ هَدَمَهُ وَبَنَاهُ وَأَدْخَلَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحِجْرِ ، وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَسَاسَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حِجَارَةً كَأَسْنِمَةِ الْإِبِلِ ، قَالَ جَرِيرٌ : فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : أَيْنَ مَوْضِعُهُ ؟ , قَالَ : أُرِيكَهُ الْآنَ ، فَدَخَلْتُ مَعَهُ الْحِجْرَ ، فَأَشَارَ إِلَى مَكَانٍ ، فَقَالَ : هَا هُنَا ، قَالَ جَرِيرٌ : فَحَزَرْتُ مِنَ الْحِجْرِ سِتَّةَ أَذْرُعٍ أَوْ نَحْوَهَا .
