Sahih al-Bukhari 159
Humran (رضي الله تعالى عنه), the slave of Uthman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, he saw Uthman bin Affan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) asking for a tumbler of water (and when it was brought) he poured water over his hands and washed them thrice and then put his right hand in the water container and rinsed his mouth, washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out. then he washed his face and forearms up to the elbows thrice, passed his wet hands over his head and washed his feet up to the ankles thrice. Then he said, ' the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'If anyone performs ablution, like that of mine, and offers a two rak'a during which he does not think of anything else, then his past sins will be forgiven.'
حضرت عثمان بن عفان ؓ کے مولیٰ حمران سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا: حضرت عثمان ؓ نے ایک دفعہ پانی کا برتن منگوایا اور اپنے ہاتھوں پر تین مرتبہ پانی ڈال کر انہیں دھویا، پھر دائیں ہاتھ کو برتن میں ڈال کر پانی لیا، کلی کی، ناک میں پانی ڈالا اور اسے صاف کیا۔ پھر اپنے منہ اور دونوں ہاتھوں کو کہنیوں سمیت تین دفعہ دھویا۔ بعد ازاں سر کا مسح کیا، پھر اپنے پاؤں ٹخنوں سمیت تین بار دھوئے۔ پھر کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’جو بھی میرے اس وضو کی طرح وضو کرے اور اس کے بعد دو رکعت ادا کرے اور ان کی ادائیگی کے دوران میں کوئی خیال دل میں نہ لائے تو اس کے سابقہ تمام گناہ بخش دیے جائیں گے۔‘‘
Hazrat Usman bin Affan (Radi Allahu Anhu) ke Maula Hamran se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Hazrat Usman (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne ek dafa paani ka bartan mangwaya aur apne haathon par teen martaba paani daal kar unhein dhoya, phir daayen haath ko bartan mein daal kar paani liya, kulli ki, naak mein paani dala aur use saaf kiya. Phir apne munh aur donon haathon ko kohniyon samet teen dafa dhoya. Baad azan sar ka masah kiya, phir apne paon takhnon samet teen baar dhoye. Phir kaha: Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Jo bhi mere is wudu ki tarah wudu kare aur is ke baad do rakaat ada kare aur unki adaigi ke dauran mein koi khayal dil mein na laaye toh uske saabiqa tamam gunah bakhsh diye jaayenge."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأُوَيْسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ حُمْرَانَ مَوْلَىعُثْمَانَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ دَعَا بِإِنَاءٍ ، فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَمِينَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَا يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ .
