Sahih al-Bukhari 1641
Narrated Muhammad bin `Abdur-Rahman bin Nawfal Al-Qurashi: I asked `Urwa bin Az-Zubair (regarding the Hajj of the Prophet ). `Urwa replied, Aisha narrated, 'When the Prophet reached Mecca, the first thing he started with was the ablution, then he performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba and his intention was not `Umra alone (but Hajj and `Umra together).' Later Abu Bakr I performed the Hajj and the first thing he started with was Tawaf of the Ka`ba and it was not `Umra alone (but Hajj and `Umra together). And then `Umar did the same. Then `Uthman performed the Hajj and the first thing he started with was Tawaf of the Ka`ba and it was not `Umra alone. And then Muawiya and `Abdullah bin `Umar did the same. I performed Hajj with Ibn Az-Zubair and the first thing he started with was Tawaf of the Ka`ba and it was not `Umra alone, (but Hajj and `Umra together). Then I saw the Muhajirin (Emigrants) and Ansar doing the same and it was not `Umra alone. And the last person I saw doing the same was Ibn `Umar, and he did not do another `Umra after finishing the first. Now here is Ibn `Umar present amongst the people! They neither ask him nor anyone of the previous ones. And all these people, on entering Mecca, would not start with anything unless they had performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba, and would not finish their Ihram. And no doubt, I saw my mother and my aunt, on entering Mecca doing nothing before performing Tawaf of the Ka`ba, and they would not finish their lhram.
حضرت عروہ بن زبیر سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے حج کے متعلق حضرت عائشہ ؓ نے مجھے آگاہ فرمایا۔ انھوں نے بتایا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب مکہ مکرمہ تشریف لائے تو آپ نے پہلا کام یہ کیا کہ وضو کیا، پھر بیت اللہ کاطواف کیا۔ محض طواف کرنے ہی سے آپ کا عمرہ مکمل نہیں ہواتھا۔ اس کے بعدحضرت ابو بکر ؓ نے حج کیا۔ انھوں نے سب سے پہلے جو کام کیا وہ بیت اللہ کا طواف تھا، پھر یہ عمرہ نہ ہوا۔ اس کے بعد حضرت عمرفاروق ؓ نے بھی اسی طرح کیا۔ (حضرت عروہ نے کہا) پھر حضرت عثمان ؓ نے حج کیا۔ میں نے ان کو سب سے پہلے جو کام کرتے دیکھا وہ بیت اللہ کا طواف تھا، پھر یہ عمرہ نہ بنا۔ اس کے بعد امیر معاویہ ؓ اور حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ (نے بھی ایسے ہی کیا) اسکے بعد میں نے(اپنے والد گرامی) حضرت زبیر ؓ کے ساتھ حج کیا۔ انھوں نے سب سے پہلے بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا۔ پھر یہ عمرہ نہ ہوا بعد ازاں میں نے مہاجرین وانصار کو بھی یہی کام کرتے دیکھا کہ عمرہ نہیں ہوتا تھا۔ آخری شخصیت جسے میں نے اس طرح کرتے دیکھا وہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ کی ذات گرامی تھی۔ انھوں نے بھی حج کوتوڑ کر عمرہ نہیں بنایا تھا۔ ابن عمر ؓ بھی ان کے پاس موجود ہیں۔ لیکن ان سے اس کے متعلق پوچھتے نہیں۔ اسی طرح جو اکابر پہلےگزرگئے ہیں ان کا بھی مکہ میں داخل ہوتے ہی پہلا قدم طواف کے لیے اٹھتا تھا۔ پھر یہ بھی احرام نہیں کھولتے تھے۔ میں نے اپنی خالہ اور والدہ کو دیکھا ہے جب وہ آتیں تو سب سے پہلے طواف کرتیں۔ اس کے بعد احرام نہیں کھولتی تھیں۔
Hazrat Urwa bin Zubair se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hajj ke mutalliq Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) ne mujhe aagah farmaya. Unhon ne bataya ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab Makka Mukarrama tashreef laye to Aap ne pehla kaam yeh kiya ke wudhu kiya, phir Baitullah ka tawaf kiya. Mahz tawaf karne hi se Aap ka umrah mukammal nahi hua tha. Is ke baad Hazrat Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne hajj kiya. Unhon ne sab se pehle jo kaam kiya wo Baitullah ka tawaf tha, phir yeh umrah na hua. Is ke baad Hazrat Umar Farooq (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne bhi isi tarah kiya. (Hazrat Urwa ne kaha) Phir Hazrat Uthman (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne hajj kiya. Main ne un ko sab se pehle jo kaam karte dekha wo Baitullah ka tawaf tha, phir yeh umrah na bana. Is ke baad Ameer Muawiya (Radi Allahu Anhu) aur Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) (ne bhi aise hi kiya) is ke baad main ne (apne walid-e-girami) Hazrat Zubair (Radi Allahu Anhu) ke sath hajj kiya. Unhon ne sab se pehle Baitullah ka tawaf kiya. Phir yeh umrah na hua baad-azan main ne Muhajireen wa Ansar ko bhi yehi kaam karte dekha ke umrah nahi hota tha. Aakhri shakhsiyat jise main ne is tarah karte dekha wo Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) ki dhat-e-girami thi. Unhon ne bhi hajj ko tor kar umrah nahi banaya tha. Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) bhi un ke pas maujood hain. Lekin un se is ke mutalliq puchte nahi. Isi tarah jo akabir pehle guzar gaye hain un ka bhi Makka mein dakhil hote hi pehla qadam tawaf ke liye uthta tha. Phir yeh bhi ihram nahi kholte thay. Main ne apni khala aur walida ko dekha hai jab wo aatin to sab se pehle tawaf kartin. Is ke baad ihram nahi kholti thin.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ ، فَقَالَ : قَدْ حَجَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهُ أَوَّلُ شَيْءٍ بَدَأَ بِهِ حِينَ قَدِمَ أَنَّهُ تَوَضَّأَ ، ثُمَّ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُنْ عُمْرَةً ، ثُمَّ حَجَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَكَانَ أَوَّلَ شَيْءٍ بَدَأَ بِهِ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُنْ عُمْرَةً ، ثُمَّ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ حَجَّ عُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَرَأَيْتُهُ أَوَّلُ شَيْءٍ بَدَأَ بِهِ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُنْ عُمْرَةً ، ثُمَّ مُعَاوِيَةُ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، ثُمَّ حَجَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فَكَانَ أَوَّلَ شَيْءٍ بَدَأَ بِهِ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُنْ عُمْرَةً ، ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارَ يَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تَكُنْ عُمْرَةً ، ثُمَّ آخِرُ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنْقُضْهَا عُمْرَةً ، وَهَذَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ عِنْدَهُمْ فَلَا يَسْأَلُونَهُ وَلَا أَحَدٌ مِمَّنْ مَضَى مَا كَانُوا يَبْدَءُونَ بِشَيْءٍ حَتَّى يَضَعُوا أَقْدَامَهُمْ مِنَ الطَّوَافِ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ لَا يَحِلُّونَ ، وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أُمِّي وَخَالَتِي حِينَ تَقْدَمَانِ ، لَا تَبْتَدِئَانِ بِشَيْءٍ أَوَّلَ مِنْ الْبَيْتِ تَطُوفَانِ بِهِ ، ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمَا لَا تَحِلَّانِ .
