Sahih al-Bukhari 192
Amr bin Yahya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reported that his father said, "I saw Amr bin Abi Hasan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) asking Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) about the ablution of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) asked for an earthenware pot containing water and performed ablution in front of them. He poured water over his hands and washed them thrice. Then he put his (right) hand in the pot and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice with three handfuls of water Again he put his hand in the water and washed his face thrice. After that he put his hand in the pot and washed his forearms up to the elbows twice and then again put his hand in the water and passed wet hands over his head by bringing them to the front and then to the back and once more he put his hand in the pot and washed his feet (up to the ankles.)" Wuhaib (one of the narrators) said that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had passed his wet hands on the head once only.
حضرت عمرو بن ابی حسن سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے عبداللہ بن زید ؓ سے نبی ﷺ کے وضو کے متعلق دریافت کیا تو انھوں نے پانی کا ایک برتن منگوایا اور لوگوں کے سامنے وضو کیا۔ (پہلے) انھوں نے برتن کو جھکایا اور (پانی لے کر) دونوں ہاتھوں کو تین مرتبہ دھویا، پھر برتن میں ہاتھ ڈالا اور پانی کے تین چلوؤں سے تین مرتبہ کلی کی، ناک میں پانی ڈالا اور اسے صاف کیا۔ پھر برتن میں ہاتھ ڈالا اور پانی لے کر تین مرتبہ اپنا منہ دھویا، پھر برتن میں ہاتھ ڈالا اور دونوں ہاتھوں کو کہنیوں تک دوبار دھویا، پھر برتن میں ہاتھ ڈالا اور سر پر آگے اور پیچھے دونوں طرف سے مسح کیا، پھر برتن میں ہاتھ ڈالا اور اپنے دونوں پاؤں دھوئے۔ یہی روایت موسیٰ نے وہیب سے بیان کی تو کہا کہ سر پر ایک بارمسح کیا۔
Hazrat Amr bin Abi Hasan se riwayat hai, unhon ne Abdullah bin Zaid (Radi Allahu Anhu) se Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ke wudu ke mutaliq daryaft kiya toh unhon ne paani ka ek bartan mangwaya aur logon ke samne wudu kiya. (Pehle) unhon ne bartan ko jhukaya aur (paani le kar) donon haathon ko teen martaba dhoya, phir bartan mein haath dala aur paani ke teen chulluon se teen martaba kulli ki, naak mein paani dala aur use saaf kiya. Phir bartan mein haath dala aur paani le kar teen martaba apna munh dhoya, phir bartan mein haath dala aur donon haathon ko kohniyon tak do baar dhoya, phir bartan mein haath dala aur sar par aage aur peeche donon taraf se masah kiya, phir bartan mein haath dala aur apne donon paon dhoye. Yahi riwayat Musa ne Wahib se bayan ki toh kaha ke sar par ek baar masah kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَبِي حَسَنٍ سَأَلَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ وُضُوءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَدَعَا بِتَوْرٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ لَهُمْ ، فَكَفَأَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلَاثًا بِثَلَاثِ غَرَفَاتٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ فَأَقْبَلَ بِيَدَيْهِ وَأَدْبَرَ بِهِمَا ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ، وحَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، قَالَ : مَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّةً .
