Sahih al-Bukhari 2680
Narrated Um Salama: Once Allah's Apostle said, You people present your cases to me and some of you may be more eloquent and persuasive in presenting their argument. So, if I give some one's right to another (wrongly) because of the latter's (tricky) presentation of the case, I am really giving him a piece of fire; so he should not take it.
حضرت ام سلمہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’تم لوگ میرے پاس اپنے مقدمات لاتے ہو، ایسا ہوسکتا ہے کہ تم میں سے کوئی دلیل بیان کرنے میں دوسرے سے زیادہ ہوشیار ہو اور اس کے کہنے کے مطابق میں اس کے بھائی کا حق اسے دے دوں تو میں نے اس کے لیے جہنم کا ایک ٹکڑا کاٹ کردیا ہے، اسے چاہیے کہ وہ نہ لے۔‘‘
Hazrat Umm-e-Salama (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Tum log mere paas apne muqadmat late ho, aisa ho sakta hai ke tum mein se koi daleel bayan karne mein doosre se zyada hoshiyar ho aur is ke kehne ke mutabiq main is ke bhai ka haq isay de doon to main ne is ke liye jahannum ka ek tukda kaat kar diya hai, usay chahiye ke woh na le.' '
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ إِلَيَّ وَلَعَلَّ بَعْضَكُمْ أَلْحَنُ بِحُجَّتِهِ مِنْ بَعْضٍ ، فَمَنْ قَضَيْتُ لَهُ بِحَقِّ أَخِيهِ شَيْئًا بِقَوْلِهِ فَإِنَّمَا أَقْطَعُ لَهُ قِطْعَةً مِنَ النَّارِ ، فَلَا يَأْخُذْهَا .
