بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً}

Sahih al-Bukhari 2805
Narrated Anas: My uncle Anas bin An-Nadr was absent from the Battle of Badr. He said, O Allah's Apostle! I was absent from the first battle you fought against the pagans. (By Allah) if Allah gives me a chance to fight the pagans, no doubt. Allah will see how (bravely) I will fight. On the day of Uhud when the Muslims turned their backs and fled, he said, O Allah! I apologize to You for what these (i.e. his companions) have done, and I denounce what these (i.e. the pagans) have done. Then he advanced and Sa`d bin Mu`adh met him. He said O Sa`d bin Mu`adh ! By the Lord of An-Nadr, Paradise! I am smelling its aroma coming from before (the mountain of) Uhud, Later on Sa`d said, O Allah's Apostle! I cannot achieve or do what he (i.e. Anas bin An-Nadr) did. We found more than eighty wounds by swords and arrows on his body. We found him dead and his body was mutilated so badly that none except his sister could recognize him by his fingers. We used to think that the following Verse was revealed concerning him and other men of his sort: Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah.......... (33.23) His sister Ar-Rubbaya' broke a front tooth of a woman and Allah's Apostle ordered for retaliation. On that Anas (bin An-Nadr) said, O Allah's Apostle! By Him Who has sent you with the Truth, my sister's tooth shall not be broken. Then the opponents of Anas's sister accepted the compensation and gave up the claim of retaliation. So Allah's Apostle said, There are some people amongst Allah's slaves whose oaths are fulfilled by Allah when they take them.
حضرت انس ؓسے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا کہ میرے چچا حضرت انس بن نضر ؓغزوہ بدر میں شریک نہ ہوسکے۔ انھوں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول ﷺ ! میں پہلی جنگ ہی سے غائب رہا جو آپ نے مشرکین کے خلاف لڑی تھی لیکن اگر اب اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے مشرکین کے خلاف کسی لڑائی میں حاضری کا موقع دیا تو اللہ ضروردیکھے لے گاکہ میں کیا کرتا ہوں۔ پھر جب جنگ احد کا موقع آیا اور مسلمان بکھر گئے تو حضرت انس بن نضر ؓنے کہا: اے اللہ! جو کچھ مسلمانوں نے کیا میں اس سے معذرت کرتا ہوں اور جو کچھ ان مشرکین نے کیا میں اس سے بے زار ہوں، پھر وہ (مشرکین کی طرف) آگے بڑھے تو حضرت سعد بن معاذ ؓسے سامنا ہوا۔ ان سے حضرت انس بن نضر نے کہا: اے سعد بن معاذ !میں تو جنت میں جانا چاہتا ہوں اور رب نضر کی قسم!میں جنت کی خوشبو احد پہاڑ کے قریب پاتا ہوں۔ حضرت سعد ؓنے کہا: اللہ کے رسول ﷺ ! جو کچھ انھوں نے کردکھایا، اس کی مجھ میں ہمت نہ تھی۔ حضرت انس ؓ کہتے ہیں کہ اس کے بعد جب ہم نے انس بن نضر ؓ کو پایا تو تلوار، نیزے اور تیر کے تقریباً اسی زخم ان کے جسم پر تھے۔ وہ شہید ہوچکے تھے اور مشرکین نے ان کے اعضاء کاٹ دیے تھے۔ کوئی شخص انھیں پہچان نہیں سکتا تھا صرف ان کی ہمشیر انھیں ان کے پوروں سے پہچان سکی۔ حضرت انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہمارے خیال کے مطابق یہ آیت ان کے اور ان جیسے دیگر اہل ایمان کے متعلق نازل ہوئی: ’’اہل ایمان میں سے کچھ وہ لوگ ہیں جنھوں نے اپنے اس وعدے کو سچا کردکھایا جو انھوں نے اللہ سے کیا تھا۔ ۔ ۔‘‘
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya ke mere chacha Hazrat Anas bin Nazr (Radi Allahu Anhu) Ghazwa-e-Badr mein shareek na ho sake. Unhon ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasul (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! main pehli jang hi se ghayeb raha jo Aap ne mushrikeen ke khilaf ladi thi lekin agar ab Allah Ta'ala ne mujhe mushrikeen ke khilaf kisi ladayi mein haziri ka mauqa diya to Allah zaroor dekh lega ke main kya karta hoon. Phir jab Jang-e-Uhud ka mauqa aaya aur Musalman bikhar gaye to Hazrat Anas bin Nazr (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne kaha: ay Allah! jo kuch Musalmanon ne kiya main is se mazrat karta hoon aur jo kuch in mushrikeen ne kiya main is se be-zar hoon, phir woh (mushrikeen ki taraf) aage badhe to Hazrat Saad bin Muadh (Radi Allahu Anhu) se samna hua. In se Hazrat Anas bin Nazr (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne kaha: ay Saad bin Muadh! main to jannat mein jana chahta hoon aur Rabb-e-Nazr ki qasam! main jannat ki khushbu Uhud pahad ke qareeb pata hoon. Hazrat Saad (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne kaha: Allah ke Rasul (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! jo kuch unhon ne kar dikhaya, is ki mujh mein himmat na thi. Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) kehte hain ke is ke baad jab hum ne Anas bin Nazr (Radi Allahu Anhu) ko paya to talwar, neza aur teer ke taqreeban assi zakhm in ke jism par thay. Woh shaheed ho chuke thay aur mushrikeen ne in ke aaza kaat diye thay. Koi shakhs unhein pehchan nahi sakta tha sirf in ki hamsheer unhein in ke poron se pehchan saki. Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke hamare khayal ke mutabiq yeh aayat in ke aur in jaise digar ahl-e-iman ke mutaliq nazil hui: ''Ahl-e-iman mein se kuch woh log hain jinhon ne apne us waade ko saccha kar dikhaya jo unhon ne Allah se kiya tha...''
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : غَابَ عَمِّي أَنَسُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ ، عَنْ قِتَالِ بَدْرٍ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ غِبْتُ عَنْ أَوَّلِ قِتَالٍ قَاتَلْتَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ لَئِنْ اللَّهُ أَشْهَدَنِي ، قِتَالَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ لَيَرَيَنَّ اللَّهُ مَا أَصْنَعُ ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ وَانْكَشَفَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعْتَذِرُ إِلَيْكَ مِمَّا صَنَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ يَعْنِي أَصْحَابَهُ ، وَأَبْرَأُ إِلَيْكَ مِمَّا صَنَعَ هَؤُلَاءِ يَعْنِي الْمُشْرِكِينَ ، ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، فَقَالَ : يَا سَعْدُ بْنَ مُعَاذٍ الْجَنَّةَ وَرَبِّ النَّضْرِ إِنِّي أَجِدُ رِيحَهَا مِنْ دُونِ أُحُدٍ ، قَالَ سَعْدٌ : فَمَا اسْتَطَعْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا صَنَعَ ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَوَجَدْنَا بِهِ بِضْعًا وَثَمَانِينَ ضَرْبَةً بِالسَّيْفِ أَوْ طَعْنَةً بِرُمْحٍ ، أَوْ رَمْيَةً بِسَهْمٍ وَوَجَدْنَاهُ قَدْ قُتِلَ وَقَدْ مَثَّلَ بِهِ الْمُشْرِكُونَ فَمَا عَرَفَهُ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا أُخْتُهُ بِبَنَانِهِ ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : كُنَّا نُرَى أَوْ نَظُنُّ أَنَّ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ نَزَلَتْ فِيهِ وَفِي أَشْبَاهِهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ سورة الأحزاب آية 23 إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ .
