Sahih al-Bukhari 2908
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was the best and the bravest amongst the people. Once the people of Madina got terrified at night, so they went in the direction of the noise (that terrified them). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) met them (on his way back) after he had found out the truth. He was riding an unsaddled horse belonging to Abu Talha (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and a sword was hanging by his neck, and he was saying, ‘Don't be afraid! Don't be afraid!’ He further said, ‘I found it (the horse) fast,’ or said, ‘this horse is amazingly fast.’
حضرت انس ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا: نبی کریم ﷺ تمام لوگوں سے زیادہ خوبصورت اور دلیر تھے۔ ایک رات اہل مدینہ پر سخت خوف و ہراس طاری ہوا تو وہ خوفناک آواز کی طرف نکلے۔ نبی کریم ﷺ سب سے پہلے آگے روانہ ہوئے اور واقعے کی تحقیق کی۔ آپ اس وقت حضرت ابو طلحہ ؓ کے ایسے گھوڑے پر سوار تھے جس پر زین نہیں تھی۔ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے گلے میں تلوار لٹکائی ہوئی تھی اور فرمارہےتھے: ’’مت گھبراؤ، تمھیں گھبرانے کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں۔‘‘ پھر آپ نے فرمایا: ’’ہم نے اس گھوڑے کو سمندر (کی طرح سبک رفتار ) پایا۔‘‘ یا (یہ) فرمایا: ’’بلاشبہ یہ (گھوڑا) سمندر ہے۔‘‘
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tamam logon se zyada khubsurat aur diler the. Ek raat Ahl-e-Madinah par sakht khof-o-hiras tari hua to wo khofnak awaz ki taraf nikle. Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) sab se pehle aage rawana hue aur waqie ki tehqeeq ki. Aap is waqt Hazrat Abu Talhah (Radi Allahu Anhu) ke aise ghoray par sawar the jis par zeen nahi thi. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apne gale mein talwar latkayi hui thi aur farma rahe the: "Mat ghabrao, tumhein ghabrane ki koi zaroorat nahi." Phir Aap ne farmaya: "Hum ne is ghoray ko samundar (ki tarah subuk-raftar) paya." Ya (yeh) farmaya: "Bilashubha yeh (ghora) samundar hai."
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ ، وَأَشْجَعَ النَّاسِ وَلَقَدْ فَزِعَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ لَيْلَةً فَخَرَجُوا نَحْوَ الصَّوْتِ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدِ اسْتَبْرَأَ الْخَبَرَ وَهُوَ عَلَى فَرَسٍ لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ عُرْيٍ وَفِي عُنُقِهِ السَّيْفُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : لَمْ تُرَاعُوا لَمْ تُرَاعُوا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : وَجَدْنَاهُ بَحْرًا ، أَوْ قَالَ إِنَّهُ لَبَحْرٌ .
