Sahih al-Bukhari 3358
Narrated Abu Huraira: Abraham did not tell a lie except on three occasion. Twice for the Sake of Allah when he said, I am sick, and he said, (I have not done this but) the big idol has done it. The (third was) that while Abraham and Sarah (his wife) were going (on a journey) they passed by (the territory of) a tyrant. Someone said to the tyrant, This man (i.e. Abraham) is accompanied by a very charming lady. So, he sent for Abraham and asked him about Sarah saying, Who is this lady? Abraham said, She is my sister. Abraham went to Sarah and said, O Sarah! There are no believers on the surface of the earth except you and I. This man asked me about you and I have told him that you are my sister, so don't contradict my statement. The tyrant then called Sarah and when she went to him, he tried to take hold of her with his hand, but (his hand got stiff and) he was confounded. He asked Sarah. Pray to Allah for me, and I shall not harm you. So Sarah asked Allah to cure him and he got cured. He tried to take hold of her for the second time, but (his hand got as stiff as or stiffer than before and) was more confounded. He again requested Sarah, Pray to Allah for me, and I will not harm you. Sarah asked Allah again and he became alright. He then called one of his guards (who had brought her) and said, You have not brought me a human being but have brought me a devil. The tyrant then gave Hajar as a girl-servant to Sarah. Sarah came back (to Abraham) while he was praying. Abraham, gesturing with his hand, asked, What has happened? She replied, Allah has spoiled the evil plot of the infidel (or immoral person) and gave me Hajar for service. (Abu Huraira then addressed his listeners saying, That (Hajar) was your mother, O Bani Ma-is-Sama (i.e. the Arabs, the descendants of Ishmael, Hajar's son).
حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے کہا: حضرت ابراہیم ؑ نے صرف تین مرتبہ خلاف واقعہ بات کی ہے۔ ان میں سے دوتواللہ کی ذات ستودہ صفات کے متعلق تھیں۔ پہلے آپ کا یہ کہنا: ’’میں بیمارہوں۔‘‘ دوسری بات ان کا کہنا: ’’بلکہ یہ ان کے بڑے بت نے کیا ہے۔‘‘ اور آپ نے فرمایا: (تیسری بات یہ ہے کہ) ایک دن وہ اور (ان کی بیوی) سارہ (سفرکرتے کرتے ) ایک ظالم بادشاہ کے پاس سے گزرے تو اس (بادشاہ) سے کہا گیا: یہاں ایک مرد آیاہے۔ اس کے ساتھ بہت خوبصورت عورت ہے، چنانچہ اس بادشاہ نے ان کے پاس ایک آدمی بھیجا اور سارہ کے متعلق پوچھا کہ وہ کون ہے؟ انھوں نے (حضرت ابراہیم ؑ نے) جواب دیا: یہ میری بہن ہے۔ اس کے بعد آپ سارہ کے پاس تشریف لے گئے اور ان سے فرمایا: اے سارہ! میرے اور تیرے سوا اس سر زمین میں کوئی مومن نہیں ہے۔ اس ظالم بادشاہ نے مجھ سے پوچھا تھا تو میں نے اسے بتایا کہ تو میری بہن ہے، لہٰذا تونے مجھے جھٹلانا نہیں۔ اس دوران میں اس ظالم نے سارہ کی طرف آدمی بھیجا۔ جب آپ اس کے پاس گئیں تو اس نے اپنے ہاتھ سے سارہ کو پکڑنا چاہا تو وہ زمین میں دھنس گیا۔ اس نے سارہ سے کہا: میرے لیے اللہ سے دعا کرو، میں تجھے کوئی تکلیف نہیں پہنچاؤں گا۔ سارہ نے اللہ سے دعا کی تو اسے نجات مل گئی۔ اس نے دوبارہ حضرت سارہ کو پکڑنا چاہا تو پہلےسے زیادہ گرفت میں آگیا۔ اس نے سارہ سے کہا: میرے لیے اللہ سے دعا کرو، میں تمھیں کوئی بھی نقصان نہیں پہنچاؤں گا۔ چنانچہ انھوں نے دعا کی تو اس کی خلاصی ہوگئی۔ پھر اس نے اپنے خادم کو بلایا اور کہا: تم میرے پاس انسان نہیں بلکہ کوئی شیطان لائے ہو اور سارہ کو بطور خدمت ہاجرہ دے کر واپس بھیج دیا۔ وہ (حضرت سارہ ان) حضرت ابراہیم ؑ کے پاس واپس آئیں تو آپ کھڑے نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔ انھوں نے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کر کے پوچھا: تمھارا حال کیسے رہا؟ سارہ نے بتایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے کافر یا فاجرکی تدبیر کو الٹا اس کے خلاف کردیا اور اس نے خدمت کے لیے ہاجرہ بھی دی ہے۔‘‘ حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓنے فرمایا: اے آسمانی پانی کی اولاد! تمھاری والدہ یہی ہاجرہ ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) ne sirf teen martaba khilaf-e-waqia baat ki hai. Un mein se do to Allah ki zaat-e-studa sifat ke mutalliq thein. Pehle Aap ka ye kehna: "Mein bimar hoon." Doosri baat un ka kehna: "Balki ye in ke bade butt ne kiya hai." Aur Aap ne farmaya: (Teesri baat ye hai ke) Ek din wo aur (un ki biwi) Sarah (Alaihis Salam) (safar karte karte) ek zalim badshah ke paas se guzre to us (badshah) se kaha gaya: Yahan ek mard aya hai. Us ke sath bohat khoobsurat aurat hai, chunanche us badshah ne un ke paas ek aadmi bheja aur Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ke mutalliq poocha ke wo kon hai? Unhon ne (Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) ne) jawab diya: Ye meri behen hai. Us ke baad Aap Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ke paas tashreef le gaye aur un se farmaya: Aye Sarah! Mere aur tere siwa is sar-zameen mein koi momin nahi hai. Is zalim badshah ne mujh se poocha tha to mein ne use bataya ke tu meri behen hai, lehaza tu ne mujhe jhutlana nahi. Is dauran mein us zalim ne Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ki taraf aadmi bheja. Jab Aap us ke paas gaein to us ne apne haath se Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ko pakadna chaha to wo zameen mein dhans gaya. Us ne Sarah (Alaihis Salam) se kaha: Mere liye Allah se dua karo, mein tujhe koi takleef nahi pahunchaoon ga. Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ne Allah se dua ki to use nijaat mil gayi. Us ne dobara Hazrat Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ko pakadna chaha to pehle se ziyada giraft mein agaya. Us ne Sarah (Alaihis Salam) se kaha: Mere liye Allah se dua karo, mein tumhein koi bhi nuqsan nahi pahunchaoon ga. Chunanche unhon ne dua ki to us ki khalasi hogayi. Phir us ne apne khadim ko bulaya aur kaha: Tum mere paas insan nahi balki koi shaitan laye ho aur Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ko bator-e-khidmat Hajirah (Alaihis Salam) de kar wapas bhej diya. Wo (Hazrat Sarah (Alaihis Salam)) Hazrat Ibrahim (Alaihis Salam) ke paas wapas aaein to Aap khade namaz padh rahe the. Unhon ne haath se ishara kar ke poocha: Tumhara haal kaise raha? Sarah (Alaihis Salam) ne bataya ke Allah Ta'ala ne kafir ya fajir ki tadbeer ko ulta us ke khilaf kardiya aur us ne khidmat ke liye Hajirah (Alaihis Salam) bhi di hai." Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne farmaya: Aye aasmani pani ki aulad! Tumhari walida yahi Hajirah (Alaihis Salam) hain.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَمْ يَكْذِبْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام إِلَّا ثَلَاثَ كَذَبَاتٍ ثِنْتَيْنِ مِنْهُنَّ فِي ذَاتِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَوْلُهُ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ سورة الصافات آية 89 وَقَوْلُهُ بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ هَذَا سورة الأنبياء آية 63 ، وَقَالَ : بَيْنَا هُوَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَسَارَةُ إِذْ أَتَى عَلَى جَبَّارٍ مِنَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّ هَا هُنَا رَجُلًا مَعَهُ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ النَّاسِ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْهَا ، فَقَالَ : مَنْ هَذِهِ ، قَالَ : أُخْتِي فَأَتَى سَارَةَ ، قَالَ : يَا سَارَةُ لَيْسَ عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ مُؤْمِنٌ غَيْرِي وَغَيْرَكِ ، وَإِنَّ هَذَا سَأَلَنِي فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ أَنَّكِ أُخْتِي فَلَا تُكَذِّبِينِي فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهَا فَلَمَّا دَخَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ ذَهَبَ يَتَنَاوَلُهَا بِيَدِهِ فَأُخِذَ ، فَقَالَ : ادْعِي اللَّهَ لِي وَلَا أَضُرُّكِ فَدَعَتِ اللَّهَ فَأُطْلِقَ ، ثُمَّ تَنَاوَلَهَا الثَّانِيَةَ فَأُخِذَ مِثْلَهَا أَوْ أَشَدَّ ، فَقَالَ : ادْعِي اللَّهَ لِي وَلَا أَضُرُّكِ فَدَعَتْ فَأُطْلِقَ فَدَعَا بَعْضَ حَجَبَتِهِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَأْتُونِي بِإِنْسَانٍ إِنَّمَا أَتَيْتُمُونِي بِشَيْطَانٍ فَأَخْدَمَهَا هَاجَرَ فَأَتَتْهُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ مَهْيَا ، قَالَتْ : رَدَّ اللَّهُ كَيْدَ الْكَافِرِ أَوِ الْفَاجِرِ فِي نَحْرِهِ وَأَخْدَمَ هَاجَرَ ، قَالَ : أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ تِلْكَ أُمُّكُمْ يَا بَنِي مَاءِ السَّمَاءِ .
