Sahih al-Bukhari 348
Imran bin Husain Al-Khuza`i (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saw a person sitting aloof and not praying with the people. He asked him, "O so and so! What prevented you from offering the prayer with the people?" He replied, "O Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! I am Junub and there is no water." The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, "Perform Tayammum with clean earth and that will be sufficient for you."
حضرت عمران بن حصین خزاعی ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا جو الگ کھڑا تھا اور اس نے لوگوں کے ساتھ نماز نہیں پڑھی تھی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ’’اے فلاں! تجھے لوگوں کے ساتھ نماز ادا کرنے میں کون سا عذر مانع تھا؟‘‘ اس نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! مجھے جنابت لاحق ہو گئی ہے اور میرے پاس پانی نہیں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’تو مٹی استعمال کر لیتا، وہ تیری ضرورت کے لیے کافی تھی۔‘‘
Hazrat Imran bin Husain Khuzai (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne aik shakhs ko dekha jo alag khara tha aur us ne logon ke saath namaz nahin parhi thi. Aap ne farmaya: "Aye falaan! Tujhe logon ke saath namaz ada karne mein kaun sa uzr maane tha?" Us ne kaha: Allah ke Rasul! Mujhe janabat lahiq ho gai hai aur mere paas pani nahin. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "To mitti istemal kar leta, woh teri zaroorat ke liye kaafi thi."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا مُعْتَزِلًا لَمْ يُصَلِّ فِي الْقَوْمِ ، فَقَالَ : يَا فُلَانُ ، مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ فِي الْقَوْمِ ؟ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَصَابَتْنِي جَنَابَةٌ وَلَا مَاءَ ، قَالَ : عَلَيْكَ بِالصَّعِيدِ فَإِنَّهُ يَكْفِيكَ .
