Sahih al-Bukhari 3575
Humaid narrated that Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, once the time of the prayer became due and the people whose houses were close to the Mosque went to their houses to perform ablution, while the others remained (sitting there). A stone pot containing water was brought to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), who wanted to put his hand in it, but It was too small for him to spread his hand in it, and so he had to bring his fingers together before putting his hand in the pot. Then all the people performed the ablution (with that water).’ I asked Anas ( رضي الله تعالى عنه), how many persons were they. He replied, ‘there were eighty men.’
حضرت انس ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے کہا کہ ایک دفعہ نماز کاوقت ہوگیا تو جس کا گھر مسجد کے قریب تھا وہ اپنے گھر وضو کرنے کے لیے چلا گیا۔ کچھ لوگ باقی رہ گئے تو نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس پتھر کا بنا ہو ایک برتن لایا گیا جس میں تھوڑا سا پانی تھا۔ آپ نے اپنی ہتھیلی اس میں رکھنا چاہی لیکن اس کامنہ اتنا تنگ تھا کہ آپ اس کے اندر اپنی ہتھیلی پھیلا کر نہیں رکھ سکتے تھے، چنانچہ آپ نے اپنی انگلیاں سمیٹ کر اس برتن میں رکھیں۔ پھر تمام لوگوں نے اس سے وضو کیا۔ (راوی کہتا ہے : )میں نے حضرت انس ؓسے پوچھا: وہ کتنے لوگ تھے؟انہوں نے بتایا کہ اسی(80)آدمی تھے۔
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Taala Anhu) hi se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke aik dafa namaz ka waqt ho gaya toh jis ka ghar masjid ke qareeb tha woh apne ghar wuzu karne ke liye chala gaya. Kuch log baqi reh gaye toh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ke paas patthar ka bana hua aik bartan laya gaya jis mein thoda sa pani tha. Aap ne apni hatheli is mein rakhna chahi lekin is ka munh itna tang tha ke Aap is ke andar apni hatheli phaila kar nahi rakh sakte thay, chunanche Aap ne apni ungliyan samait kar is bartan mein rakhin. Phir tamaam logon ne is se wuzu kiya. (Rawi kehta hai:) Mein ne Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Taala Anhu) se pucha: Woh kitne log thay? Unhon ne bataya ke assi (80) aadmi thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُنِيرٍ ، سَمِعَ يَزِيدَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَقَامَ مَنْ كَانَ قَرِيبَ الدَّارِ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ يَتَوَضَّأُ وَبَقِيَ قَوْمٌ فَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِخْضَبٍ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَوَضَعَ كَفَّهُ فَصَغُرَ الْمِخْضَبُ أَنْ يَبْسُطَ فِيهِ كَفَّهُ فَضَمَّ أَصَابِعَهُ فَوَضَعَهَا فِي الْمِخْضَبِ فَتَوَضَّأَ الْقَوْمُ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا ، قُلْتُ : كَمْ كَانُوا ؟ قَالَ : ثَمَانُونَ رَجُلًا .
