Chapter: The Ghazwa of Al-Hudaibiya

باب غَزْوَةِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ

Nafi narrated that Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, the people were along with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) on the day of Al-Hudaibiya spreading in the shade of the trees. Suddenly the people surrounded the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and started looking at him. Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘O Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه), go and see why the people are encircling Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and looking at him. Abdullah bin Umar ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) then saw the people giving the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). So, he also gave the Pledge of allegiance and returned to Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) who went out in his turn and gave the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).
حضرت ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ لوگ حدیبیہ کے دن نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے جو درختوں کے سائے میں پھیل گئے۔ پھر اچانک لوگ نبی ﷺ کے اردگرد جمع ہو گئے۔ حضرت عمر ؓ نے کہا: اے عبداللہ! دیکھو لوگوں کا کیا حال ہے کہ وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس جمع ہیں چنانچہ انہوں نے لوگوں کو دیکھا کہ وہ آپ ﷺ کی بیعت کر رہے ہیں، پھر انہوں نے بھی بیعت کر لی۔ اس کے بعد حضرت عمر ؓ کے پاس واپس آ کر بتایا تو وہ گئے اور انہوں نے بھی آپ ﷺ کی بیعت کی۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke log Hudaibiya ke din Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hamrah thay jo darakhton ke saaye mein phail gaye. Phir achanak log Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke ard-gird jama ho gaye. Hazrat Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) ne kaha: Ae Abdullah! dekho logon ka kya haal hai ke woh Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas jama hain chunanche unhon ne logon ko dekha ke woh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki bai'at kar rahay hain, phir unhon ne bhi bai'at kar li. Is ke baad Hazrat Umar (Radiyallahu Anhu) ke paas wapas aa kar bataya to woh gaye aur unhon ne bhi Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki bai'at ki.
وَقَالَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُمَرِيُّ , أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ , عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا : أَنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ تَفَرَّقُوا فِي ظِلَالِ الشَّجَرِ , فَإِذَا النَّاسُ مُحْدِقُونَ بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ انْظُرْ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ قَدْ أَحْدَقُوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَوَجَدَهُمْ يُبَايِعُونَ , فَبَايَعَ , ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى عُمَرَ فَخَرَجَ فَبَايَعَ .
