بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {وَيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ إِذْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنْكُمْ شَيْئًا وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُمْ مُدْبِرِينَ ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: {غَفُورٌ رَحِي

Sahih al-Bukhari 4316
Abu 'Is-haq narrated that Al-Bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was asked while I was listening, ‘did you flee (before the enemy) along with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) on the day of (the battle of) Hunain?’ He replied, ‘as for the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), he did not (flee). The enemy were good archers, and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was saying, ‘I am the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) undoubtedly; I am the son of Abdul Muttalib.
حضرت ابو اسحاق سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے حضرت براء ؓ سے سنا جبکہ ان کے پاس ایک آدمی آیا اور کہا: (ابو عمارہ!) کیا تم لوگوں نے نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ حنین کے دن پیٹھ پھیر لی تھی؟ (بھاگ گئے تھے؟) انہوں نے کہا: جہاں تک نبی ﷺ کا تعلق ہے تو آپ نے پیٹھ نہیں پھیری تھی۔ دراصل قبیلہ ہوازن کے لوگ سخت تیر انداز تھے اور آپ نے اس وقت فرمایا: ’’میں نبی ہوں، جس میں کوئی جھوٹ نہیں اور میں عبدالمطلب کا بیٹا ہوں۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Ishaq se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke main ne Hazrat Bara (Radi Allahu Anhu) se suna jabke un ke paas ek aadmi aaya aur kaha: (Abu Amara!) kya tum logon ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hamrah Hunain ke din peeth pher li thi? (bhaag gaye thay?) Unhon ne kaha: Jahan tak Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka talluq hai to aap ne peeth nahi pheri thi. Darasl qabila Hawazin ke log sakht teer-andaz thay aur aap ne us waqt farmaya: "Main Nabi hon, jis mein koi jhoot nahi aur main Abdul Muttalib ka beta hon."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قِيلَ لِلْبَرَاءِ ، وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ : أَوَلَّيْتُمْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ ؟ فَقَالَ : أَمَّا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا كَانُوا رُمَاةً ، فَقَالَ : أَنَا النَّبِيُّ لَا كَذِبْ أَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبْ .
