Sahih al-Bukhari 4702
Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that (while we were going for the Battle of Tabuk and when we reached the places of the dwellers of Al- Hijr), Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said about the dwellers of Al-Hijr to us, ‘do not enter (the dwelling places) of these people unless you enter weeping, but if you weep not, then do not enter upon them, lest you be afflicted with what they were afflicted with.’
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اصحاب الحجر کے متعلق فرمایا تھا: ’’اس قوم کی بستی سے جب گزرنا پڑے تو روتے ہوئے گزرو اور اگر روتے ہوئے نہیں گزر سکتے تو پھر وہاں نہ جاؤ، مبادا تم پر وہی عذاب آ جائے جو ان پر آیا تھا۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ashab-ul-hijr ke mutaliq farmaya tha: ''Is qaum ki basti se jab guzarna pare to rote hue guzro aur agar rote hue nahi guzar sakte to phir wahan na jao, mubada tum par wahi azab aa jaye jo in par aaya tha.''
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِ الْحِجْرِ : لَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَى هَؤُلَاءِ الْقَوْمِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ ، فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ، أَنْ يُصِيبَكُمْ مِثْلُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ .
