The Statement of Allah the Exalted: "...O you who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses, except when leave is given to you for a meal... (up to) ... Verily! With Allah that shall be an enormity." (V.33:53)

باب قَوْلِهِ {لاَ تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلاَّ أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاهُ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانْتَشِرُوا وَلاَ مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّب

Sahih al-Bukhari 4791
Narrated Anas bin Malik: When Allah's Messenger married Zainab bint Jahsh, he invited the people to a meal. They took the meal and remained sitting and talking. Then the Prophet (showed them) as if he is ready to get up, yet they did not get up. When he noticed that (there was no response to his movement), he got up, and the others too, got up except three persons who kept on sitting. The Prophet came back in order to enter his house, but he went away again. Then they left, whereupon I set out and went to the Prophet to tell him that they had departed, so he came and entered his house. I wanted to enter along with him, but he put a screen between me and him. Then Allah revealed: 'O you who believe! Do not enter the houses of the Prophet...' (33.53)
حضرت انس بن مالک ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا: جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حضرت زینب بنت حجش ؓ سے نکاح کیا تو لوگوں کو آپ نے دعوت ولیمہ دی، کھانے کے بعد لوگ بیٹھے باتیں کرتے تھے، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایسا کیا گویا آپ اٹھنا چاہتے ہیں لیکن لوگ پھر بھی نہ اٹھے۔ جب آپ نے دیکھا کہ کوئی نہیں اٹھتا تو آپ کھڑے ہو گئے۔ جب آپ اٹھے تو دوسرے لوگ بھی کھڑے ہو گئے لیکن تین آدمی پھر بھی بیٹھے رہے۔ پھر نبی ﷺ جب باہر سے اندر جانے کے لیے تشریف لائے تو دیکھا کہ لوگ اب بھی بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں، پھر وہ لوگ اٹھے اور اٹھ کر چلے گئے۔ میں نے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر بتایا کہ وہ لوگ بھی چلے گئے ہیں تو آپ اندر تشریف لے گئے۔ میں نے بھی اندر داخل ہونا چاہا لیکن آپ ﷺ نے میرے اور اپنے درمیان پردہ گرا لیا۔ اس کے بعد یہ آیت نازل ہوئی: ’’اے ایمان والو! نبی کے گھروں میں مت جایا کرو ۔۔‘‘
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Jab Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Hazrat Zainab bint-e-Jahsh (Radiyallahu Anha) se nikah kiya to logon ko aap ne dawat-e-walima di, khane ke baad log baithe baaten karte thay, Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne aisa kiya goya aap uthna chahte hain lekin log phir bhi na uthay. Jab aap ne dekha ke koi nahi uthta to aap khaday ho gaye. Jab aap uthay to doosre log bhi khaday ho gaye lekin teen aadmi phir bhi baithe rahe. Phir Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab baahar se andar jaane ke liye tashreef laye to dekha ke log ab bhi baithe hue hain, phir woh log uthay aur uth kar chale gaye. Main ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar bataya ke woh log bhi chale gaye hain to aap andar tashreef le gaye. Main ne bhi andar dakhil hona chaha lekin aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mere aur apne darmiyan parda gira liya. Is ke baad yeh aayat nazil hui: ''Ae iman walo! Nabi ke gharon mein mat jaya karo..''
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مِجْلَزٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ دَعَا الْقَوْمَ ، فَطَعِمُوا ، ثُمَّ جَلَسُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ ، وَإِذَا هُوَ كَأَنَّهُ يَتَهَيَّأُ لِلْقِيَامِ ، فَلَمْ يَقُومُوا ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى ذَلِكَ قَامَ ، فَلَمَّا قَامَ قَامَ مَنْ قَامَ وَقَعَدَ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَدْخُلَ ، فَإِذَا الْقَوْمُ جُلُوسٌ ، ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ قَامُوا ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ ، فَجِئْتُ فَأَخْبَرْتُ ، النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُمْ قَدِ انْطَلَقُوا ، فَجَاءَ حَتَّى دَخَلَ ، فَذَهَبْتُ أَدْخُلُ ، فَأَلْقَى الْحِجَابَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ سورة الأحزاب آية 53 الْآيَةَ .
