Sahih al-Bukhari 484
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them), that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) set out for Umrah and during the Farewell Pilgrimage when he went out for Hajj, he stayed at Dhul-Hulayfah. Near the mosque at Dhul-Hulayfah, the Prophet (peace be upon him) rested under an acacia tree. Whenever he returned from a battle and passed through Dhul-Hulayfah, or when he returned from Hajj or Umrah, he would descend into the lower part of the Valley of Ateeq. Then, when ascending from the lower part of the valley, he would camp on the upper eastern side of the valley, where there was a wide area with pebbles and sand (i.e., in Batha). He would rest there until morning. This place is not close to the mosque made of stones, and he would not stay on the mound where the mosque was built. There was a deep ravine, and Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to pray there. There were sand dunes in the lower part of the ravine, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray there as well. However, floods have since covered the traces of the place where Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) used to pray, erasing the landmarks.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ ہی سے روایت ہےکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب عمرے کے لیے جاتے، اسی طرح حجۃ الوداع میں جب حج کے لیے تشریف لے گئے تو ذوالحلیفہ میں اس کیکر کے نیچے پڑاؤ کرتے جہاں اب مسجد ذوالحلیفہ ہے۔ اور جب آپ جہاد، حج یا عمرے سے (مدینے) واپس آتے اور اس راستے سے گزرتے تو وادی عقیق کے نشیب میں اترتے۔ جب وہاں سے اوپر چڑھتے تو اپنی اونٹنی کو بطحاء میں بٹھاتے جو وادی کے مشرقی کنارے پر ہے اور آکر شب میں وہیں آرام فرماتے یہاں تک کہ صبح ہو جاتی۔ یہ مقام اس مسجد کے پاس نہیں جو پتھروں سے بنی ہے اور نہ اس ٹیلے پر ہے جس پر مسجد ہے بلکہ اس جگہ ایک گہرا نالا تھا۔ عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ اس کے پاس نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ اس کے اندر کچھ (ریت کے) ٹیلے تھے، رسول اللہ ﷺ وہیں نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ (راوی کہتا ہے) لیکن اب نالے کی رو (پانی کے بہاؤ) نے وہاں کنکریاں بچھا دی ہیں اور اس مقام کو چھپا دیا ہے جہاں عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab umre ke liye jate, isi tarah Hajjat-ul-Wida mein jab hajj ke liye tashreef le gaye to Zul-Hulaifa mein is kikar ke neeche parao karte jahan ab Masjid-e-Zul-Hulaifa hai. Aur jab aap jihad, hajj ya umre se (Madine) wapas aate aur is raste se guzarte to Wadi-e-Aqeeq ke nasheeb mein utarte. Jab wahan se oopar charhte to apni oontni ko Batha mein bithate jo wadi ke mashriqi kinare par hai aur aa kar shab mein wahin aram farmate yahan tak ke subah ho jati. Yeh maqam is masjid ke paas nahi jo pathron se bani hai aur na is teelay par hai jis par masjid hai balke is jagah ek gehra nala tha. Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) is ke paas namaz parha karte thay. Is ke andar kuch (rait ke) teelay thay, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) wahin namaz parhte thay. (Rawi kehta hai) lekin ab nale ki rou (pani ke bahao) ne wahan kankariyan bicha di hain aur is maqam ko chupa diya hai jahan Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) namaz parha karte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْزِلُ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ حِينَ يَعْتَمِرُ وَفِي حَجَّتِهِ حِينَ حَجَّ تَحْتَ سَمُرَةٍ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَكَانَ إِذَا رَجَعَ مِنْ غَزْوٍ كَانَ فِي تِلْكَ الطَّرِيقِ أَوْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ هَبَطَ مِنْ بَطْنِ وَادٍ ، فَإِذَا ظَهَرَ مِنْ بَطْنِ وَادٍ أَنَاخَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ الَّتِي عَلَى شَفِيرِ الْوَادِي الشَّرْقِيَّةِ فَعَرَّسَ ، ثَمَّ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ لَيْسَ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بِحِجَارَةٍ وَلَا عَلَى الْأَكَمَةِ الَّتِي عَلَيْهَا الْمَسْجِدُ كَانَ ، ثَمَّ خَلِيجٌ يُصَلِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عِنْدَهُ فِي بَطْنِهِ كُثُبٌ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثَمَّ يُصَلِّي فَدَحَا السَّيْلُ فِيهِ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ حَتَّى دَفَنَ ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانَ الَّذِي كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ .
