باب الْهَدِيَّةِ لِلْعَرُوسِ

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Whenever the Prophet passed by (my mother Um-Sulaim) he used to enter her and greet her. Anas further said: Once the Prophet way a bridegroom during his marriage with Zainab, Um Sulaim said to me, Let us give a gift to Allah's Apostle . I said to her, Do it. So she prepared Haisa (a sweet dish) made from dates, butter and dried yoghurt and she sent it with me to him. I took it to him and he said, Put it down, and ordered me to call some men whom he named, and to invite whomever I would meet. I did what he ordered me to do, and when I returned, I found the house crowded with people and saw the Prophet keeping his hand over the Haisa and saying over it whatever Allah wished (him to say). Then he called the men in batches of ten to eat of it, and he said to them, Mention the Name of Allah, and each man should eat of the dish the nearest to him. When all of them had finished their meals, some of them left and a few remained there talking, over which I felt unhappy. Then the Prophet went out towards the dwelling places (of his wives) and I too, went out after him and told him that those people had left. Then he returned and entered his dwelling place and let the curtains fall while I was in (his) dwelling place, and he was reciting the Verses:-- 'O you who believe! Enter not the Prophet's house until leave is given you for a meal, (and then) not (as early as) to what for its preparation. But when you are invited, enter, and when you have taken your meals, disperse without sitting for a talk. Verily such (behavior) annoys the Prophet; and he would be shy of (asking) you (to go), but Allah is not shy of (telling you) the Truth.' (33-53) Abu Uthman said: Anas said, I served the Prophet for ten years.
سیدنا ابو عثمان ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ سیدنا انس ؓ کا ہمارے سامنے سے بنو رفاعہ کی مسجد سے گزر ہوا، میں نے سنا آپ فرما رہے تھے کہ نبی ﷺ کا معمول تھا آپ جب بھی سیدنا ام سلیم ؓ کے گھر کی طرف سے گزرتے تو ان کے پاس جاتے اور انہیں سلام کرتے۔ اس کے بعد سیدنا انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ جب سیدہ زینب ؓ کے دلھا بنے تو مجھے (میری والدہ) ام سلیم ؓ نے کہا: اس وقت ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کو کوئی تحفہ بھیجیں تو بہتر ہے۔ میں نے کہا: ٹھیک ہے ضرور بھیجیں چنانچہ انہوں نے کھجور، گھی، اور پنیر ملا کر ایک ہانڈی میں حلوہ بنایا اور مجھے دے کر آپ ﷺ کے پاس روانہ کیا۔ جب وہاں پہنچا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”اسے رکھ دو۔“ پھر حکم دیا ”فلاں فلاں لوگوں کو میرے پاس لاؤ۔ ۔ ۔ “ آپ نے ان کا نام لیا۔ ۔ ۔ اور جو بی آدمی تجھے راستے میں ملے اسے میری طرف سے دعوت دے دو۔“ چنانچہ مجھے آپ نے جو حکم دیا تھا میں نے اس کی تعمیل کی۔ جب میں واپس آیا تو کیا دیکھتا ہوں کہ لوگوں سے گھر بھرا ہوا ہے میں نے نبی ﷺ جو دیکھا کہ آپ نے دونوں ہاتھ اس حلوے پر رکھ دیے اور جو اللہ کو منظور تھا وہ اپنی زبان سے پڑھا، اس کے بعد دس دس آدمیوں کو کھانے کے لیے بلانا شروع کیا۔ آپ ان سے فرماتے تھے: ”اللہ کا نام لے کر ہر آدمی آپنے آگے سے کھائے۔“ بہر حال سب لوگ کھا کر گھرسے باہر چل دیے، البتہ تین آدمی گھر میں بیٹھے باتیں کرتے رہے اور مجھے ان کے نہ جانے سے رنج پیدا ہوا آخر کار نبی ﷺ اپنی بیویوں کے حجروں کی طرف گئے، میں بھی آپ کے پیچھے پیچھے گیا، میں نے (آپ سے ﷺ سے) کہا: لوگ اپنے گھروں کو چلے گئے ہیں اس وقت آپ واپس آ کر گھر میں داخل ہوئے اور پردہ لٹکا دیا۔ میں ابھی حجرے ہی میں تھا آپ (سورہ احزاب) کی یہ آیات پڑھ رہے تھے۔ ”اے ایمان والو! نبی کے گھروں میں نہ جایا کرو مگر جب کھانے کے لیے اندر آنے کی اجازت دی جائے، وہاں بیٹھ کر کھانا پکنے کا انتظار نہ کرو، البتہ جب تمہیں بلایا جائے تو اندر جاؤ اور کھانے سے فارغ ہوتے ہی واپس چلے آؤ، باتوں میں لگ کر وہاں بیٹھے نہ رہو، یہ بات نبی کو تکلیف دیتی ہے اور وہ تم سے شرم کرتے ہیں جبکہ اللہ تعالٰی حق بات کہنے سے نہیں شرماتا۔“ ابو عثمان کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا انس ؓ فرمایا کرتے تھے: بے شک میں نے دس سال تک رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت انجام دی ہے۔
Sayyidna Abu Usman (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha ke Sayyidna Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) ka hamare samne se Banu Rifaa ki masjid se guzar hua, main ne suna aap farma rahe thay ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka mamool tha aap jab bhi Sayyidna Umm-e-Sulaim (Radi Allahu Anha) ke ghar ki taraf se guzarte to un ke paas jate aur unhein salam karte. Is ke baad Sayyidna Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab Sayyida Zainab (Radi Allahu Anha) ke dulha bane to mujhe (meri walda) Umm-e-Sulaim (Radi Allahu Anha) ne kaha: Is waqt hum Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko koi tuhfa bhejein to behtar hai. Main ne kaha: Theek hai zaroor bhejein chunanche unhon ne khajoor, ghee, aur paneer mila kar ek haandi mein halwa banaya aur mujhe de kar aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas rawana kiya. Jab wahan poncha to aap ne farmaya: "Ise rakh do." Phir hukm diya "Falan falan logon ko mere paas lao..." Aap ne un ka naam liya... "aur jo bhi aadmi tujhe raste mein mile ise meri taraf se dawat de do." Chunanche mujhe aap ne jo hukm diya tha main ne is ki tameel ki. Jab main wapas aya to kya dekhta hoon ke logon se ghar bhara hua hai main ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jo dekha ke aap ne dono hath is halwe par rakh diye aur jo Allah ko manzoor tha woh apni zaban se parha, is ke baad das das aadmiyon ko khane ke liye bulana shuru kiya. Aap un se farmate thay: "Allah ka naam le kar har aadmi apne aage se khaye." Bahar-haal sab log kha kar ghar se bahar chal diye, albatta teen aadmi ghar mein baithe batein karte rahe aur mujhe un ke na jane se ranj paida hua aakhir-kaar Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) apni biwiyon ke hujron ki taraf gaye, main bhi aap ke peeche peeche gaya, main ne (aap se (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se) kaha: Log apne gharon ko chale gaye hain is waqt aap wapas aa kar ghar mein dakhil hue aur parda latka diya. Main abhi hujre hi mein tha aap (Surah Ahzab) ki yeh ayaat parh rahe thay. "Ae iman walo! Nabi ke gharon mein na jaya karo magar jab khane ke liye andar aane ki ijazat di jaye, wahan baith kar khana pakne ka intezar na karo, albatta jab tumhein bulaya jaye to andar jao aur khane se farigh hote hi wapas chale ao, baton mein lag kar wahan baithe na raho, yeh baat Nabi ko takleef deti hai aur woh tum se sharam karte hain jabkeh Allah Ta'ala haq baat kehne se nahin sharmata." Abu Usman kehte hain ke Sayyidna Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) farmaya karte thay: Beshak main ne das saal tak Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat anjam di hai.
وَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ واسْمُهُ الْجَعْدُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ بِنَا فِي مَسْجِدِ بَنِي رِفَاعَةَ ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا مَرَّ بِجَنَبَاتِ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَرُوسًا بِزَيْنَبَ ، فَقَالَتْ لِي أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ : لَوْ أَهْدَيْنَا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَدِيَّةً ؟ فَقُلْتُ لَهَا : افْعَلِي ، فَعَمَدَتْ إِلَى تَمْرٍ وَسَمْنٍ وَأَقِطٍ ، فَاتَّخَذَتْ حَيْسَةً فِي بُرْمَةٍ ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ بِهَا مَعِي إِلَيْهِ ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ بِهَا إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ لِي : ضَعْهَا ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَنِي ، فَقَالَ : ادْعُ لِي رِجَالًا سَمَّاهُمْ ، وَادْعُ لِي مَنْ لَقِيتَ ، قَالَ : فَفَعَلْتُ الَّذِي أَمَرَنِي ، فَرَجَعْتُ ، فَإِذَا الْبَيْتُ غَاصٌّ بِأَهْلِهِ ، فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى تِلْكَ الْحَيْسَةِ وَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يَدْعُو عَشَرَةً عَشَرَةً يَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ : اذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ وَلْيَأْكُلْ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِمَّا يَلِيهِ ، قَالَ : حَتَّى تَصَدَّعُوا كُلُّهُمْ عَنْهَا فَخَرَجَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ خَرَجَ وَبَقِيَ نَفَرٌ يَتَحَدَّثُونَ ، قَالَ : وَجَعَلْتُ أَغْتَمُّ ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ الْحُجُرَاتِ وَخَرَجْتُ فِي إِثْرِهِ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّهُمْ قَدْ ذَهَبُوا ، فَرَجَعَ ، فَدَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ وَأَرْخَى السِّتْرَ وَإِنِّي لَفِي الْحُجْرَةِ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ إِلا أَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِرِينَ إِنَاهُ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانْتَشِرُوا وَلا مُسْتَأْنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ فَيَسْتَحْيِي مِنْكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ سورة الأحزاب آية 53 ، قَالَ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ : قَالَ أَنَسٌ : إِنَّهُ خَدَمَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ
