Chapter: The description of Paradise and the Fire

باب صِفَةِ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ

The Prophet added, A forenoon journey or an after noon journey in Allah's Cause is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and a place equal to an arrow bow of anyone of you, or a place equal to a foot in Paradise is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and if one of the women of Paradise looked at the earth, she would fill the whole space between them (the earth and the heaven) with light, and would fill whatever is in between them, with perfume, and the veil of her face is better than the whole world and whatever is in it.
اور آپ ﷺ نے مزید فرمایا: ”اللہ کے رسول کی راہ میں ایک صبح یا ایک شام گزارنا دنیا ومافیہا سے بہتر ہے۔ جنت میں ایک قوس یا قدم رکھنے کی جگہ دنیا اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے اس سے بہتر ہے اور اگر جنت کی عورتوں میں سے کوئی عورت زمین کی طرف جھانکے تو آسمان سے لے کر زمین تک روشن کر دے اور اسے خوشبو سے بھر دے، اس عورت کا دوپٹا دنیاو مافیہا سے بہتر ہے۔“
Aur Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne mazeed farmaya: 'Allah ke Rasool ki raah mein ek subah ya ek shaam guzarana dunya wa ma-feeha se behtar hai. Jannat mein ek qous ya qadam rakhne ki jagah dunya aur jo kuch is mein hai us se behtar hai aur agar jannat ki auraton mein se koi aurat zameen ki taraf jhaanke toh asman se le kar zameen tak roshan kar de aur ise khushbu se bhar de, is aurat ka dupatta dunya wa ma-feeha se behtar hai.'
وَقَالَ : غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ ، خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ، وَلَقَابُ قَوْسِ أَحَدِكُمْ ، أَوْ مَوْضِعُ قَدَمٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ ، خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ اطَّلَعَتْ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ ، لَأَضَاءَتْ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا ، وَلَمَلَأَتْ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا رِيحًا ، وَلَنَصِيفُهَا ، يَعْنِي : الْخِمَارَ ، خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا .
