Chapter: One should not say: "Whatever Allah wills and whatever you will."

باب لاَ يَقُولُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَشِئْتَ. وَهَلْ يَقُولُ أَنَا بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ بِكَ
Sahih al-Bukhari 6653
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he heard the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saying, ‘Allah decided to test three people from Bani Isra'il. So, He sent an angel who came first to the leper and said, 'I am a traveler) who has run short of all means of living, and I have nobody to help me except Allah, and then with your help.' Abu Hurairah, then mentioned the complete narration.
حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ واقعہ بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا: ”اللہ تعالٰی نے بنی اسرائیل کے تین آدمیوں کا امتحان لینے کا ارادہ کیا تو ان کے پاس ایک فرشتہ بھیجا۔ وہ کوڑھی کے پاس آیا اور اس سے کہا: میرے تمام اسباب و ذرائع ختم ہو چکے ہیں، میرے لیے اب اللہ کے سوا پھر تیرے علاوہ کوئی سہارا نہیں ہے۔“ پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث بیان کی۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko yeh waqia bayan karte hue suna: 'Allah Ta'ala ne Bani Israel ke teen aadmiyon ka imtehan lene ka irada kiya toh un ke paas ek farishta bheja. Woh kodhi ke paas aya aur us se kaha: Mere tamam asbab aur zaraye khatm ho chuke hain, mere liye ab Allah ke siwa phir tere alawah koi sahara nahi hai.' Phir rawi ne poori hadees bayan ki.
وَقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّ ثَلَاثَةً فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْتَلِيَهُمْ ، فَبَعَثَ مَلَكًا فَأَتَى الْأَبْرَصَ فَقَالَ : تَقَطَّعَتْ بِيَ الْحِبَالُ ، فَلَا بَلَاغَ لِي إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ، ثُمَّ بِكَ ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
