Sahih al-Bukhari 6655
Usama (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, once a daughter of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sent a message to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) while Usama, Sa`d, and my father or Ubai (رضي الله تعالی عنہم) were sitting with him. She said, (in the message); ‘my child is going to die; please come to us.’ Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) returned the person and told him to convey his greetings to her, and say, ‘whatever Allah takes, is for Him and whatever He gives is for Him, and everything with Him has a limited fixed term (in this world), so she should be patient and hope for Allah's reward.’ Then she again sent for him swearing that he should come; so the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) got up, and so did we. When he sat there (at the house of his daughter), the child was brought to him, and he took him into his lap while the child's breath was disturbed in his chest. The eyes of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) started shedding tears. Sa`d (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘what is this, O Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)?’ The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘this is the mercy which Allah has lodged in the hearts of whoever He wants of His servants, and verily Allah is merciful only to those of His servants who are merciful (to others).'
حضرت اسامہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی ایک صاحبزادی نے آپ کو پیغام بھیجا۔ اس وقت آپ کے پاس حضرت اسامہ بن زید، حضرت سعد بن عبادہ اور حضرت ابی بن کعب ؓ بھی تھے۔ (پیغام یہ تھا) کہ میرا بیٹا قریب الوفات ہے، آپ تشریف لائیں۔ آپ نے جواب میں پیغام بھیجا کہ میرا سلام کہو اور کہو: ”بے شک سب اللہ کے مال ہے جو اس نے لے لیا اور جو عنایت فرمایا۔ اس کے ہاں ہر چیز کا ایک مقرر ہے، لہذا اسے چاہیئے کہ صبر کرے اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ثواب کی امید رکھے۔“ صاحبزادی نے دوبارہ پیغام بھیجا اور آپ کو قسم دی کہ ضرور تشریف لائیں، چنانچہ آپ اسی وقت اٹھے ہم لوگ بھی آپ کے ساتھ تیار ہوئے، جب آپ وہاں جا کر بیٹھے تو بچہ اٹھا کر آپ کے پاس لایا گیا۔ آپ نے اسےاپنی آغوش میں بٹھایا جبکہ وہ دم توڑ رہا تھا۔ یہ منظر دیکھ کر آپ کی آنکھوں سے آنسو بہہ پڑے تو حضرت سعد بن عبادہ ؓ نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ رونا کیسا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہ رونا رحمت ہے۔ اللہ تعالٰی اپنے بندوں میں سے جن کے دلوں میں چاہتا ہے اسے رکھ دیتا ہے۔ اللہ تعالٰی اپنے بندوں میں سے ان پر رحم کرتا ہے جو دوسروں پر رحم کرتے ہیں۔“
Hazrat Usama (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki ek sahab-zadi ne Aap ko paigham bheja. Is waqt Aap ke paas Hazrat Usama bin Zaid, Hazrat Sa'd bin Ubadah aur Hazrat Ubayy bin Ka'b (Razi Allahu Anhum) bhi the. (Paigham yeh tha) ke mera beta qareeb-ul-wafat hai, Aap tashreef layein. Aap ne jawab mein paigham bheja ke mera salam kaho aur kaho: 'Be-shak sab Allah ka maal hai jo Us ne le liya aur jo inayat farmaya. Us ke han har cheez ka ek waqt muqarrar hai, lehaza ise chahiye ke sabr kare aur Allah Ta'ala se sawab ki umeed rakhe.' Sahab-zadi ne dobara paigham bheja aur Aap ko qasam di ke zaroor tashreef layein, chunanche Aap usi waqt utthe hum log bhi Aap ke saath tayyar hue, jab Aap wahan ja kar baithe toh bacha utha kar Aap ke paas laya gaya. Aap ne ise apni aghosh mein bithaya jabke woh dam tod raha tha. Yeh manzar dekh kar Aap ki aankhon se aansu beh pade toh Hazrat Sa'd bin Ubadah (Razi Allahu Anhu) ne poocha: Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! yeh rona kaisa hai? Aap ne farmaya: 'Yeh rona rahmat hai. Allah Ta'ala apne bandon mein se jin ke dilon mein chahta hai ise rakh deta hai. Allah Ta'ala apne bandon mein se un par raham karta hai jo dusron par raham karte hain.'
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ ، يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ ، أَنَّ بِنْتًا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ ، وَمَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، وسَعْدٌ ، وأُبَيٌّ : أَنَّ ابْنِي قَدِ احْتُضِرَ فَاشْهَدْنَا ، فَأَرْسَلَ يَقْرَأُ السَّلَامَ ، وَيَقُولُ : إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا أَخَذَ وَمَا أَعْطَى ، وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ مُسَمًّى ، فَلْتَصْبِرْ وَتَحْتَسِبْ ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِ ، تُقْسِمُ عَلَيْهِ ، فَقَامَ وَقُمْنَا مَعَهُ ، فَلَمَّا قَعَدَ رُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ ، فَأَقْعَدَهُ فِي حَجْرِهِ ، وَنَفْسُ الصَّبِيِّ جُئِّثُ ، فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ : مَا هَذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : هَذِهِ رَحْمَةٌ يَضَعُهَا اللَّهُ فِي قُلُوبِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ، وَإِنَّمَا يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الرُّحَمَاءَ .
