Sahih al-Bukhari 689
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Once Allah's Apostle rode a horse and fell down and the right side (of his body) was injured. He offered one of the prayers while sitting and we also prayed behind him sitting. When he completed the prayer, he said, The Imam is to be followed. Pray standing if he prays standing and bow when he bows; rise when he rises; and if he says, 'Sami`a l-lahu-liman hamidah, say then, 'Rabbana wa laka lhamd' and pray standing if he prays standing and pray sitting (all of you) if he prays sitting. Humaid said: The saying of the Prophet Pray sitting, if he (Imam) prays sitting was said in his former illness (during his early life) but the Prophet prayed sitting afterwards (in the last illness) and the people were praying standing behind him and the Prophet did not order them to sit. We should follow the latest actions of the Prophet.
حضرت انس بن مالک ؓ سے روایت ہے، ایک مرتبہ رسول اللہ ﷺ گھوڑے پر سوار ہوئے تو اس پر سے گر پڑے، جس سے آپ کے دائیں پہلو میں چوٹیں آئیں، چنانچہ آپ نے ایک نماز بیٹھ کر پڑھی تو ہم نے بھی آپ کے پیچھے بیٹھ کر وہ نماز پڑھی۔ جب آپ نے سلام پھیرا تو فرمایا: ’’امام اس لیے مقرر کیا جاتا ہے کہ اس کی اقتدا کی جائے، لہذا جب وہ کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھو۔ جب وہ رکوع کرے تو تم بھی رکوع کرو۔ جب وہ سر اٹھائے تو تم بھی سر اٹھاؤ اور جب وہ سمع الله لمن حمده کہے تو تم ربنا ولك الحمد کہو۔ اور جب وہ کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھو اور جب وہ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھو۔ ابوعبداللہ (امام بخاری ؓ) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے فرمان: "جب امام بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھو۔‘‘ اس کے متعلق امام حمیدی بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ کا مذکورہ فرمان آپ کی پہلی بیماری کے متعلق ہے، اس کے بعد آپ نے خود (مرض وفات میں) بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھائی جبکہ لوگ آپ کے پیچھے کھڑے ہوئے تھے۔ آپ نے انہیں بیٹھنے کا حکم نہیں دیا۔ قاعدہ بھی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے آخری اور آخری عمل کو لیا جائے۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, ek martaba Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ghore par sawar hue to is par se gir pare, jis se aap ke dayain pehlu mein chotain aayin, chunancha aap ne ek namaz baith kar parhi to hum ne bhi aap ke peeche baith kar wo namaz parhi. Jab aap ne salam phera to farmaya: ''Imam is liye muqarrar kiya jata hai ke is ki iqtada ki jaye, lehaza jab wo khare ho kar namaz parhe to tum bhi khare ho kar namaz parho. Jab wo rukoo kare to tum bhi rukoo karo. Jab wo sar uthaye to tum bhi sar uthao aur jab wo 'Sami Allahu liman hamidah' kahe to tum 'Rabbana walakal hamd' kaho. Aur jab wo khare ho kar namaz parhe to tum bhi khare ho kar namaz parho aur jab wo baith kar namaz parhe to tum bhi baith kar namaz parho.'' Abu Abdullah (Imam Bukhari (Radi Allahu Anhu)) farmate hain ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke farman: 'Jab imam baith kar namaz parhe to tum bhi baith kar namaz parho' is ke mutaliq Imam Humaidi bayan karte hain ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka mazkoora farman aap ki pehli bemari ke mutaliq hai, is ke baad aap ne khud (maraz-e-wafat mein) baith kar namaz parhayi jabke log aap ke peeche khare hue thay. Aap ne unhein baithne ka hukm nahi diya. Qaida bhi hai ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke akhri aur akhri amal ko liya jaye.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكِبَ فَرَسًا فَصُرِعَ عَنْهُ فَجُحِشَ شِقُّهُ الْأَيْمَنُ ، فَصَلَّى صَلَاةً مِنَ الصَّلَوَاتِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَصَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَهُ قُعُودًا ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ ، قَالَ : إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ ، فَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ فَارْفَعُوا ، وَإِذَا قَالَ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا : رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، وَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا ، وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعُونَ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ : قَوْلُهُ إِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا هُوَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الْقَدِيمِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسًا وَالنَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ قِيَامًا لَمْ يَأْمُرْهُمْ بِالْقُعُودِ ، وَإِنَّمَا يُؤْخَذُ بِالْآخِرِ فَالْآخِرِ مِنْ فِعْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
