Sahih al-Bukhari 6918
Narrated `Abdullah: When the Verse: 'It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with wrong (i.e., worshipping others besides Allah): (6.82) was revealed, it became very hard on the companions of the Prophet and they said, Who among us has not confused his belief with wrong (oppression)? On that, Allah's Apostle said, This is not meant (by the Verse). Don't you listen to Luqman's statement: 'Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great wrong indeed.' (31.13)
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا: جب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی: ”جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور اپنے کو ظلم سے ملوث نہ کیا۔“ تو یہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے صحابہ کرام پر بہت گراں گزری، انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم میں سے کون ہے جس نے اپنے ایمان کو ظلم سے آلودہ نہ کیا ہو؟ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: دراصل یہ بات نہیں، کیا تم نے حضرت لقمان کی بات نہیں سنی، انہوں نے کہا تھا: ”یقیناً شرک بہت بڑا ظلم ہے۔“
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhone kaha: Jab ye ayat nazil hui: "Jo log iman laye aur apne ko zulm se maluth na kiya." to ye Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sahaba-e-karam par bahut garaan guzri, unhone kaha: Allah ke Rasool! Hum mein se kon hai jis ne apne iman ko zulm se alooda na kiya ho? Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Dar-asal ye baat nahi, kya tum ne Hazrat Luqman ki baat nahi suni, unhone kaha tha: "Yaqeenan shirk bahut bada zulm hai."
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ : الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوا إِيمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ سورة الأنعام آية 82 ، شَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالُوا : أَيُّنَا لَمْ يَلْبِسْ إِيمَانَهُ بِظُلْمٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بِذَاكَ ، أَلَا تَسْمَعُونَ إِلَى قَوْلِ لُقْمَانَ : إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ سورة لقمان آية 13 .
