Sahih al-Bukhari 6979
Abu Humaid As-Sa`idi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) appointed a man called Ibn Al-Lutabiyya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) to collect the Zakat from Bani Sulaim's tribe. When he returned, the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) called him to account. He said to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), 'this is your money, and this has been given to me as a gift.’ On that, Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘why didn't you stay in your father's and mother's house to see whether you will be given gifts or not if you are telling the truth?’ Then the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) addressed us, and after praising and glorifying Allah, he said, ‘Amma Ba'du’ ( ُأَمَّا بَعْد), I employ a man from among you to manage some affair of what Allah has put under my custody, and then he comes to me and says, 'this is your money, and this has been given to me as a gift. Why didn't he stay in his father's and mother's home to see whether he will be given gifts or not? By Allah, not anyone of you takes a thing unlawfully but he will meet Allah on the Day of Resurrection, carrying that thing. I do not want to see any of you carrying a grunting camel or a mooing cow or a bleating sheep on meeting Allah.’ Then the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raised both his hands till the whiteness of his armpits became visible, and he said, ‘O Allah, haven't I conveyed Your Message?’ The narrator added, ‘my eyes witnessed and my ears heard this from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).
حضرت ابو حمید ساعدی ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک شخص کو بنو سلیم کے صدقات وصول کرنے پر عامل بنایا جسے ابن قبیہ کہا جاتا تھا۔ وہ صدقات لے کر واپس آیا تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس سے حساب کتاب لیا۔ اس نے کہا: یہ تمہارا مال ہے اور یہ (میرا) ہدیہ ہے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اگر تو سچا ہے تو اپنے ماں باپ کے گھر میں کیوں نہ بیٹھا رہا، وہیں یہ تحائف تیرے پاس آ جاتے۔“ اس کے بعد آپ ﷺ نے ہمیں خطبہ دیا، اللہ کی حمد وثنا کے بعد فرمایا: اما بعد! میں تم میں سے کسی کو اس کام پر عامل بناتا ہوں جو اللہ تعالٰی نے میرے سپرد کیا ہے، پھر وہ شخص میرے پاس آ کر کہتا ہے: یہ تمہارا مال ہے اور یہ مجھے ہدیہ دیا گیا ہے۔ وہ اپنے والدین کے گھر کیوں نہیں بیٹھا رہا تاکہ وہیں اسے ہدایا پہنچ جائیں؟ اللہ کی قسم! تم میں سے جو بھی حق کے بغیر کوئی چیز لے گا وہ اللہ تعالٰی سے اس حال میں ملاقات کرے گا کہ وہ اس چیز کو اٹھائے ہوئے ہوگا۔ میں تم میں سے ہر اس شخص کو پہچان لوں گا جو اللہ تعالٰی سے اس حالت میں ملے گا کہ وہ اونٹ اٹھائے ہوئے ہوگا جو بلبلا رہا ہوگا یا گائے اٹھائے ہوئے ہوگا جو اپنی آواز نکال رہی ہوگی یا بکری اٹھائے ہوئے ہوگا جو ممیا رہی ہوگی۔ پھر آپ نے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے حتی کہ آپ کی بغلوں کی سفیدی نظر آنے لگی۔ پھر آپ نے فرمایا: اے اللہ! ”میں نے تیرا حکم لوگوں تک پہنچا دیا ہے؟“ راوی کہتا ہے: یہ منظر میں نے اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھا اور میرے کانوں نے ان باتوں کو سنا۔
Hazrat Abu Humaid Saidi (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne aik shakhs ko Banu Sulaim ke sadqat wasool karne par aamil banaya jisay Ibn Qabiyah kaha jata tha. Woh sadqat le kar wapas aaya to Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne is se hisab kitab liya. Is ne kaha: Yeh tumhara maal hai aur yeh (mera) hadiya hai. Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Agar tu sacha hai to apne maan baap ke ghar mein kyun na baitha raha, wahin yeh tahaif tere paas aa jatay." Is ke baad aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne humein khutba diya, Allah ki hamd o sana ke baad farmaya: Amma baad! Main tum mein se kisi ko is kaam par aamil banata hoon jo Allah Ta'ala ne mere supurd kiya hai, phir woh shakhs mere paas aa kar kehta hai: Yeh tumhara maal hai aur yeh mujhe hadiya diya gaya hai. Woh apne walidain ke ghar kyun nahin baitha raha taake wahin usay hadaya puhanch jayein? Allah ki qasam! Tum mein se jo bhi haqq ke baghair koi cheez le ga woh Allah Ta'ala se is haal mein mulaqat kare ga ke woh is cheez ko uthaye huye hoga. Main tum mein se har is shakhs ko pehchan loon ga jo Allah Ta'ala se is halat mein mile ga ke woh oont uthaye huye hoga jo bilbila raha hoga ya gaye uthaye huye hoga jo apni awaz nikaal rahi hogi ya bakri uthaye huye hoga jo mamiya rahi hogi. Phir aap ne dono hath uthaye hatta ke aap ki baghlon ki safedi nazar aane lagi. Phir aap ne farmaya: Ae Allah! "Main ne tera hukm logon tak puhancha diya hai?" Rawi kehta hai: Yeh manzar main ne apni aankhon se dekha aur mere kaano ne in baaton ko suna.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ : اسْتَعْمَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا عَلَى صَدَقَاتِ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ يُدْعَى ابْنَ الْلَّتَبِيَّةِ ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ حَاسَبَهُ ، قَالَ : هَذَا مَالُكُمْ وَهَذَا هَدِيَّةٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : فَهَلَّا جَلَسْتَ فِي بَيْتِ أَبِيكَ وَأُمِّكَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَكَ هَدِيَّتُكَ إِنْ كُنْتَ صَادِقًا ، ثُمَّ خَطَبَنَا ، فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أَمَّا بَعْدُ ، فَإِنِّي أَسْتَعْمِلُ الرَّجُلَ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى الْعَمَلِ مِمَّا وَلَّانِي اللَّهُ ، فَيَأْتِي فَيَقُولُ : هَذَا مَالُكُمْ وَهَذَا هَدِيَّةٌ أُهْدِيَتْ لِي ، أَفَلَا جَلَسَ فِي بَيْتِ أَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَهُ هَدِيَّتُهُ ، وَاللَّهِ لَا يَأْخُذُ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ شَيْئًا بِغَيْرِ حَقِّهِ إِلَّا لَقِيَ اللَّهَ يَحْمِلُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، فَلَأَعْرِفَنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ يَحْمِلُ بَعِيرًا لَهُ رُغَاءٌ ، أَوْ بَقَرَةً لَهَا خُوَارٌ ، أَوْ شَاةً تَيْعَرُ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَهُ حَتَّى رُئِيَ بَيَاضُ إِبْطِهِ ، يَقُولُ : اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ بَصْرَ عَيْنِي وَسَمْعَ أُذُنِي .
