Chapter: “After me you will see things which you will disapprove of.”

باب قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " سَتَرَوْنَ بَعْدِي أُمُورًا تُنْكِرُونَهَا "
Sahih al-Bukhari 7056
He said, The Prophet called us and we gave him the Pledge of allegiance for Islam, and among the conditions on which he took the Pledge from us, was that we were to listen and obey (the orders) both at the time when we were active and at the time when we were tired, and at our difficult time and at our ease and to be obedient to the ruler and give him his right even if he did not give us our right, and not to fight against him unless we noticed him having open Kufr (disbelief) for which we would have a proof with us from Allah.
انہوں نے مزید کہا: آپ ﷺ ہم سے جن باتوں کا عہد لیا تھا وہ یہ تھیں کہ ہم خوشی وناگواری، تنگی و کشادگی اور اپنے اوپر دوسروں کو ترجیح دینے کی صورت میں بھی اپنے امیر کی بات سنیں گے اور اس کی اطاعت کریں گے اور حکمرانوں کے ساتھ حکومتی معاملات میں کوئی جھگڑا نہیں کریں گے: ”الا یہ کہ تم انہیں اعلانیہ کفر کرتے دیکھو اور تمہارے پاس اس کے متعلق کوئی واضح دلیل ہو۔“
Unhon ne mazeed kaha: Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hum se jin baaton ka ehad liya tha woh yeh thien ke hum khushi o nagawari, tangi o kushada-gi aur apne oopar doosron ko tarjeeh dene ki soorat mein bhi apne ameer ki baat sunein ge aur is ki itaat karein ge aur hukm-ranon ke sath hukomati muamlat mein koi jhagra nahin karein ge: "Illa yeh ke tum unhein alaniya kufr karte dekho aur tumhare paas is ke mutaliq koi wazeh daleel ho."
فَقَالَ فِيمَا أَخَذَ عَلَيْنَا : أَنْ بَايَعَنَا عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ فِي مَنْشَطِنَا وَمَكْرَهِنَا ، وَعُسْرِنَا وَيُسْرِنَا ، وَأَثَرَةً عَلَيْنَا ، وَأَنْ لَا نُنَازِعَ الْأَمْرَ أَهْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ تَرَوْا كُفْرًا بَوَاحًا عِنْدَكُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِيهِ بُرْهَانٌ .
