Chapter: To seek refuge with Allah from Al-Fitan

باب التَّعَوُّذِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 7090
The above Hadith (# 40) was narrated by Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) through another chain and said with this wording, ‘and every man had his head wrapped in his garment and weeping’. And he said with the wording, ‘seeking refuge with Allah from the evil of afflictions’ or he said ‘I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of afflictions.’
حضرت انس ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ نے یہ حدیث بیان کی تو ہر شخص اپنے کپڑے میں سر لپیٹے رورہا تھا اور فتنوں سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگ رہا تھا یا یوں کہہ رہا تھا: میں فتنوں کی برائی سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai ke jab Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne yeh hadith bayan ki to har shakhs apne kapre mein sar lapaite ro raha tha aur fitnon se Allah ki panah maang raha tha ya youn keh raha tha: Main fitnon ki burayi se Allah ki panah mangta hoon.
وَقَالَ عَبَّاسٌ النَّرْسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا ، وَقَالَ : كُلُّ رَجُلٍ لَافًّا رَأْسَهُ فِي ثَوْبِهِ يَبْكِي ، وَقَالَ : عَائِذًا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ سُوءِ الْفِتَنِ ، أَوْ قَالَ : أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ سَوْءَى الْفِتَنِ .
