Sahih al-Bukhari 7215
Narrated Um Atiyya: We gave the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet and he recited to me the verse (60.12). That they will not associate anything in worship with Allah (60.12). And he also prevented us from wailing and lamenting over the dead. A woman from us held her hand out and said, Such-and-such a woman cried over a dead person belonging to my family and I want to compensate her for that crying The Prophet did not say anything in reply and she left and returned. None of those women abided by her pledge except Um Sulaim, Um Al-`Ala', and the daughter of Abi Sabra, the wife of Al-Mu`adh or the daughter of Abi Sabra, and the wife of Mu`adh.
سیدہ ام سلیم عطیہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: ہم نے نبی ﷺ کی بیعت کی تو آپ نے ہم پر یہ آیت پڑھی: ”وہ اللہ کے ساتھ کسی چیز کو شریک نہیں ٹھہرائیں گی۔“ اور آپ نے ہمیں نوحہ کرنے سے منع فرمایا تو ہم میں سے ایک عورت نے اپنا ہاتھ پیچھے کرلیا اور کہا: فلاں عورت نے (نوحہ کرنے میں) میری مدد کی تھی اور میں اسے اس کا بدلہ لینا چاہتی ہوں۔ اس پر آپ ﷺ نے کچھ نہ کہا تو وہ گئی پھر وآپس آئی۔ (میرے ساتھ بیعت کرنے والی عورتوں میں سے) کسی عورت نے اس بیعت کو پورا نہ کیا سوائے ام سلیم، ام علاء، معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیوی بنت ابو سبرہ کی بیٹی اور معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیوی کے۔
Sayyidah Umm-e-Sulaim Atiya (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha: hum ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki bai ki to aap ne hum par yeh aayat parhi: "woh Allah ke sath kisi cheez ko shareek nahin thehraein gi." Aur aap ne humein nouha karne se mana farmaya to hum mein se aik aurat ne apna hath peeche karli-ya aur kaha: falan aurat ne (nouha karne mein) meri madad ki thi aur main usay is ka badla lena chahti hoon. Is par aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne kuch na kaha to woh gayi phir wapas aayi. (mere sath bai karne wali auraton mein se) kisi aurat ne is bai ko poora na kiya siwaye Umm-e-Sulaim, Umm-ul-Ala, Muaz (Radi Allahu Anhu) ki biwi bint Abu Sabra ki beti aur Muaz (Radi Allahu Anhu) ki biwi ke.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ ، قَالَتْ : بَايَعْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا : أَنْ لا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا سورة الممتحنة آية 12 ، وَنَهَانَا عَنِ النِّيَاحَةِ ، فَقَبَضَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَّا يَدَهَا ، فَقَالَتْ : فُلَانَةُ أَسْعَدَتْنِي ، وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَجْزِيَهَا ، فَلَمْ يَقُلْ شَيْئًا ، فَذَهَبَتْ ثُمَّ رَجَعَتْ ، فَمَا وَفَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَّا أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ ، وَأُمُّ الْعَلَاءِ ، وَابْنَةُ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ امْرَأَةُ مُعَاذٍ ، أَوِ ابْنَةُ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ وَامْرَأَةُ مُعَاذٍ .
