Sahih al-Bukhari 7298
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) wore a gold ring and then the people followed him and wore gold rings too. Then the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘I had this golden ring made for myself. He then threw it away and said, ‘I shall never put it on.’ Thereupon the people also threw their rings away.
سیدنا ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی ﷺ نے سونے کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی تو دوسرے لوگوں نے بھی سونے کی انگوٹھی بنوائی تھی۔ پھر آپ نے اسے پھینک دیا اور فرمایا: ”میں اسے کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا۔“ تب دوسرے لوگوں نے بھی اپنی اپنی انگوٹھیاں پھینک دیں۔
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhone farmaya: Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne soney ki ek angoothi banwai to doosre logon ne bhi soney ki angoothi banwai thi. Phir Aap ne isay phenk diya aur farmaya: ''Main isay kabhi nahi pehnoon ga.'' Tab doosre logon ne bhi apni apni angoothian phenk dein.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، فَاتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَنَبَذَهُ ، وَقَالَ : إِنِّي لَنْ أَلْبَسَهُ أَبَدًا ، فَنَبَذَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ .
