Sahih al-Bukhari 7397
Adi bin Hatim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he asked the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), ‘I send off (for a game) my trained hunting dogs; (what is your verdict concerning the game they hunt?’ He said, ‘if you send off your trained hunting dogs and mention the Name of Allah, then, if they catch some game, eat (thereof). And if you hit the game with a mi'rad (a hunting tool) and it wounds it, you can eat it.
سیدنا عدی بن حاتم ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا:میں نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا: میں شکار پر اپنے سکھائے ہوئے کتے چھوڑتا ہوں؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب تم سدھائے ہوئے کتے چھوڑو اور چھوڑتے وقت اللہ کے نام بھی لو، پھر اگر وہ شکار پکڑ کر اسے روک لیں، اس سے خود نہ کھائیں تو تم اسے کھا سکتے ہو۔“
Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhone kaha: Main ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se poocha: Main shikar par apne sikhaye huay kutte chorta hoon? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Jab tum sudhaye huay kutte choro aur chorte waqt Allah ke naam bhi lo, phir agar woh shikar pakar kar isay rok lein, is se khud na khayein to tum isay kha sakte ho.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قُلْتُ : أُرْسِلُ كِلَابِي الْمُعَلَّمَةَ ؟ ، قَالَ : إِذَا أَرْسَلْتَ كِلَابَكَ الْمُعَلَّمَةَ وَذَكَرْتَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ فَأَمْسَكْنَ فَكُلْ ، وَإِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِالْمِعْرَاضِ فَخَزَقَ فَكُلْ .
