Sahih al-Bukhari 7499
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Whenever the Prophet offered the night (Tahajjud) prayer, he used to say, O Allah! All the Praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth. And all the Praises are for You; You are the Keeper of the Heavens and the Earth. All the Praises are for You; You are the Lord of the Heavens and the Earth and whatever is therein. You are the Truth, and Your Promise is the Truth, and Your Speech is the Truth, and meeting You is the Truth, and Paradise is the Truth and Hell (Fire) is the Truth and all the prophets are the Truth and the Hour is the Truth. O Allah! I surrender to You, and believe in You, and depend upon You, and repent to You, and in Your cause I fight and with Your orders I rule. So please forgive my past and future sins and those sins which I did in secret or in public. It is You Whom I worship, None has the right to be worshipped except You . (See Hadith No. 329,Vol. 8)
سیدنا ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی ﷺ جب رات کو تہجد کے لیے اٹھتے تو پڑھتے : ”اے اللہ! حمد تیرے ہی لیے ہے۔ تو آسمانوں اور زمین کو روشن کرنے والا ہے تعریف تیرے ہی لیے ہے۔ تو آسمانوں اور زمین کو کنٹرول کرنے والا ہے۔ حمد تیرے ہی لیے ہے تو آسمانوں کا، زمین کا اور جو کچھ ان میں ہے سب کا رب ہے۔ تو برحق ہے۔ تیرا وعدہ سچا ہے۔ تیرا کلام بھی برحق ہے۔ تیری ملاقات مبنی حقیقت ہے۔ جنت حق ہے اور دوزخ بھی حق ہے۔ تمام انبیاء سچے ہیں اور قیامت بھی برحق ہے، تیری ملاقات مبنی برحقیقت ہے۔ جنت حق ہے اور دوزخ بھی حق ہے۔ تمام انبیاء سچے ہیں اور قیامت بھی برحق ہے۔ اے اللہ! میں تیرے حضور سرنگوں ہوا، تجھ پر ایمان لایا، میں نے تجھی پر توکل کیا تیری ہی طرف رجوع کیا۔ میں تیرے ہی سامنے اپنا مقدمہ پیش کرتا ہوں اور تجھی سے اپنا فیصلہ چاہتا ہوں، اس لیے میرے اگلے پچھلے تمام گناہ معاف کر دے جو میں نے پوشیدہ کیے ہیں اور جو علانیہ کیے ہیں۔ توہی میرا معبود ہے اور تیرے سوا کوئی بھی معبود برحق نہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne farmaya: Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) jab raat ko tahajjud ke liye uthte to parhte: "Aye Allah! Hamd Tere hi liye hai. Tu aasmanon aur zameen ko roshan karne wala hai ta'reef Tere hi liye hai. Tu aasmanon aur zameen ko control karne wala hai. Hamd Tere hi liye hai Tu aasmanon ka, zameen ka aur jo kuch un mein hai sab ka Rabb hai. Tu bar-haq hai. Tera wada sacha hai. Tera kalam bhi bar-haq hai. Teri mulaqat mabni haqiqat hai. Jannat haq hai aur dozakh bhi haq hai. Tamam ambiya sache hain aur qayamat bhi bar-haq hai, Teri mulaqat mabni bar-haqiqat hai. Jannat haq hai aur dozakh bhi haq hai. Tamam ambiya sache hain aur qayamat bhi bar-haq hai. Aye Allah! Main tere huzoor sar-nigoon hua, tujh par iman laya, main ne tujhi par tawakkul kiya teri hi taraf ruju kiya. Main tere hi samne apna muqaddama pesh karta hoon aur tujhi se apna faisla chahta hoon, is liye mere agle pichle tamam gunah maaf kar de jo main ne poshida kiye hain aur jo alaniya kiye hain. Tu hi mera mabood hai aur tere siwa koi bhi mabood-e-bar-haq nahi."
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَهَجَّدَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ ، أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ ، وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ الْحَقُّ ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ ، أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ .
