باب قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم {رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَهْوَ يَقُومُ بِهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَرَجُلٌ يَقُولُ لَوْ أُوتِيتُ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ هَذَا فَعَلْتُ كَمَا يَفْعَلُ»

Sahih al-Bukhari 7529
Saalim's father narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘not to wish to be the like of except the like of two (persons), a man whom Allah has given the knowledge of the Quran and he recites it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day; and a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in Allah's Cause during the hours of the night and during the hours of the day.’
سیدنا عبد اللہ بن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے وہ نبی ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا: ”رشک کے قابل تو دو ہی آدمی ہیں: ایک وہ جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآن دیا وہ دن رات اسکی تلاوت کرتا رہتا ہے اور دوسرا وہ جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے مال دیا وہ اسے دن رات خرچ کرتا ہے۔“ (علی بن مدینی نے کہا:) میں نے یہ حدیث سفیان بن عینیہ سے کئی مرتبہ سنی ہے لیکن حدیث صحیح اور متصل ہونے کے باوجود وہ اسے أخبرنا کے الفاظ سے بیان نہیں کرتے۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai woh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap ne farmaya: "Rashk ke qabil to do hi aadmi hain: ek woh jise Allah Ta'ala ne Quran diya woh din raat uski tilawat karta rehta hai aur doosra woh jise Allah Ta'ala ne maal diya woh use din raat kharch karta hai." (Ali bin Madini ne kaha:) Main ne yeh hadees Sufyan bin Uyainah se kayi martaba suni hai lekin hadees sahih aur muttasil hone ke bawajood woh ise 'akhbarana' ke alfaaz se bayan nahi karte.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ : رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ يَتْلُوهُ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ ، وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَالًا فَهُوَ يُنْفِقُهُ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ ، سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ مِرَارًا لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ يَذْكُرُ الْخَبَرَ ، وَهُوَ مِنْ صَحِيحِ حَدِيثِهِ .
