Sahih al-Bukhari 763
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: (My mother) Umu-l-Fadl heard me reciting Wal Mursalati `Urfan (77) and said, O my son! By Allah, your recitation made me remember that it was the last Sura I heard from Allah's Apostle. He recited it in the Maghrib prayer.
حضرت ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ (ان کی والدہ) ام الفضل ؓ نے انہیں سورہ ﴿وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ عُرْفًا ﴿١﴾) پڑھتے سنا تو کہنے لگیں: میرے بیٹے! تو نے یہ سورت پڑھ کر مجھے یاد دلا دیا کہ یہی وہ آخری سورت ہے جو میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنی تھی۔ آپ یہ سورت نماز مغرب میں پڑھ رہے تھے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke (un ki walda) Umm-ul-Fazl (Radiyallahu Anha) ne unhein Surah {Wal-Mursalat-i Urfa} parhte suna to kehne lagein: Mere bete! Tu ne yeh surat parh kar mujhe yaad dila diya ke yahi wo aakhri surat hai jo mein ne Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se suni thi. Aap yeh surat namaz-e-maghrib mein parh rahe thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : إِنَّ أُمَّ الْفَضْلِ سَمِعَتْهُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ وَالْمُرْسَلاتِ عُرْفًا ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا بُنَيَّ ، وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ ذَكَّرْتَنِي بِقِرَاءَتِكَ هَذِهِ السُّورَةَ إِنَّهَا لَآخِرُ مَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ بِهَا فِي الْمَغْرِبِ .
