Sahih al-Bukhari 780
Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet ( صلىہللا عليه و آله وسلم) said, "Say Ameen" when the Imam says it and if the Ameen of any one of you coincides with that of the angels then all his past sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab said, "Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to Say "Ameen."
حضرت ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’جب امام آمین کہے تو تم بھی آمین کہو کیونکہ جس کی آمین فرشتوں کی آمین کے موافق ہو گئی، اس کے گزشتہ گناہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔‘‘ ابن شہاب کا کہنا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ خود بھی آمین کہا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Jab imam Aameen kahe to tum bhi Aameen kaho kyunke jis ki Aameen farishton ki Aameen ke muwafiq ho gayi, is ke guzishta gunah maaf kar diye jayein ge.'' Ibn Shihab ka kehna hai ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) khud bhi Aameen kaha karte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، وأبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن أنهما أخبراه عن أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا ، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ : وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : آمِينَ .
