Sahih al-Bukhari 814
Sahl bin Sa`d (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the people used to pray with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tying their Izars around their necks because of their small sizes and the women were directed that they should not raise their heads from the prostrations till the men had sat straight.
حضرت سہل بن سعد ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے تھے اور چادروں کے چھوٹے ہونے کی وجہ سے انہیں گردنوں سے باندھے ہوتے تھے، چنانچہ عورتوں سے کہہ دیا گیا: ’’جب تک مرد سیدھے ہو کر بیٹھ نہ جائیں تم اس وقت تک اپنے سر سجدے سے نہ اٹھاؤ۔‘‘
Hazrat Sahl bin Saad (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya ke log Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sath namaz parhte thay aur chadron ke chhote hone ki wajah se unhein gardnon se bandhe hote thay, chunanche aurton se keh diya gaya: ''Jab tak mard seedhe ho kar baith na jayein tum is waqt tak apne sar sajde se na uthao.' '
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُمْ عَاقِدُوا أُزْرِهِمْ مِنَ الصِّغَرِ عَلَى رِقَابِهِمْ ، فَقِيلَ لِلنِّسَاءِ : لَا تَرْفَعْنَ رُءُوسَكُنَّ حَتَّى يَسْتَوِيَ الرِّجَالُ جُلُوسًا .
