It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that a woman vowed to perform Hajj but she passed away. Her brother came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and inquired about it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If she had any debt, would you have paid it?" He replied, "Yes, definitely." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Fulfill her vow (of Hajj), for she is more deserving of having her vow fulfilled."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نے نذر مانی کہ وہ حج کرے گی لیکن اس کا انتقال ہو گیا، تو ان کا بھائی رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور اس بارے میں دریافت کیا، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اگر ان پر کوئی قرض ہوتا تو کیا تم اسے ادا کرتے؟“ انہوں نے عرض کیا: ہاں ضرور ادا کرتا، فرمایا: ”اس نذر کو پورا کرو، یہ نذر وفا کی زیادہ مستحق ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se riwayat hai ki ek aurat ne nazr maani ki woh Hajj karegi lekin iska intiqal ho gaya, to unka bhai Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas aaya aur is baare mein دریافت kia, Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Agar in par koi qarz hota to kya tum ise ada karte?“ Unhon ne arz kia: Haan zaroor ada karta, farmaya: ”Is nazr ko poora karo, yeh nazr wafa ki zyada mustahiq hai.“
أَخْبَرَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ امْرَأَةً نَذَرَتْ أَنْ تَحُجَّ فَمَاتَتْ، فَجَاءَ أَخُوهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"لَوْ كَانَ عَلَيْهَا دَيْنٌ أَكُنْتَ قَاضِيَهُ؟". قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: "فَاقْضُوا اللَّهَ، فَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ بِالْوَفَاءِ".
