Chapter: In the blood money of the fingers.

باب في دية الأصابع

Sunan al-Darimi 2406

It was narrated from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The fingers are all equal." Abu Musa said: "(On each finger) there are ten." He said: "Yes."

Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے، نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”انگلیاں سب برابر ہیں۔“ سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: (ہر انگلی پر) دس ہیں۔ فرمایا: ”ہاں۔“

Sayyidna Abumusa Ashari raziallahu anhu se marvi hai, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Ungliyan sab barabar hain." Sayyidna Abumusa raziallahu anhu ne kaha: "(Har ungli par) das hain." Farmaya: "Haan."

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "الْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ"، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ؟، قَالَ:"نَعَمْ".

Sunan al-Darimi 2407

Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This and this are equal", and he pointed to his index finger and thumb.

Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ اور یہ (سب) برابر ہیں“ اور چھنگلیا اور انگوٹھے کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔

Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Yeh aur yeh (sab) barabar hain” aur chhungliya aur angoothe ki taraf ishara kiya.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "هَذَا وَهَذَا سَوَاء , وَقَالَ: بِخِنْصِرِهِ وَإِبْهَامِهِ".

Sunan al-Darimi 2408

Abu Bakr ibn Amr ibn Hazm narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wrote to the people of Yemen, "For every finger of the hand and foot, (the bloodwit is) ten camels."

Grade: Da'if

ابوبکر بن عمرو بن حزم نے اپنے باپ کے حوالے سے اپنے دادا سے روایت کیا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اہلِ یمن کو تحریر فرمایا کہ: ”ہاتھ اور پیروں کی ہر انگلی کے عوض دس اونٹ (دیت) ہے۔“

Abu Bakr bin Amr bin Hazm ne apne baap ke hawale se apne dada se riwayat kiya keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ahl e Yaman ko tahreer farmaya keh: "Haath aur pairon ki har ungli ke awaz das unt (deet) hai."

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ: أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ: "وَفِي كُلِّ إِصْبَعٍ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الْيَدِ وَالرِّجْلِ عَشْرَةٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ".
