Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet (ﷺ) came out for the prayer carrying Umamah, the daughter of Zainab (his granddaughter), over his shoulder. When he stood up (for the prayer) he put her down, and when he prostrated, he placed her on the ground, and when he got up he took her again.

سیدنا ابوقتاده رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نماز کے لئے باہر تشریف لائے اور اپنی گردن یا کندھے پر امامہ بنت زینب (اپنی نواسی) کو اٹھائے ہوئے تھے، جب آپ رکوع کرتے تو نیچے اتار دیتے، جب کھڑے ہوتے تو پھر انہیں اٹھا لیتے۔
Sayyidna Abu Qatadah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz ke liye bahar tashreef laaye aur apni gardan ya kandhe par Imamah bint Zaynab (apni bhanji) ko uthaye huye the, jab aap ruku karte to neeche utaar dete, jab khare hote to phir unhen utha lete.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ هُوَ النَّبِيلُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "خَرَجَ يُصَلِّي وَقَدْ حَمَلَ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ أَوْ عَاتِقِهِ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ، وَضَعَهَا، وَإِذَا قَامَ، حَمَلَهَا".
