Sayyiduna Muadh bin Jabal, may Allah be pleased with him, said: We set out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in the year of the Battle of Tabuk, and he would combine the prayers. He prayed Zuhr and Asr together, then he went inside, and when he came out again, he prayed Maghrib and Isha together.

سیدنا معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ غزوہ تبوک کے سال میں نکلے تو آپ ﷺ نماز جمع کر کے پڑھتے تھے، اس طرح کہ ظہر اور عصر ایک ساتھ آپ نے پڑھی، پھر آپ اندر ہو گئے، اس کے بعد باہر آئے تو مغرب اور عشاء ایک ساتھ پڑھی۔
Sayyidna Muaz bin Jabal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Hum Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Ghazwa Tabuk ke saal mein nikle to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz jama kar ke parhte the, is tarah ke Zuhr aur Asr ek sath aap ne parhi, phir aap andar ho gaye, is ke bad bahar aaye to Maghrib aur Isha ek sath parhi.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيِّ، أَنَّ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ عَامِرَ بْنَ وَاثِلَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ، فَكَانَ يَجْمَعُ الصَّلَاةَ: "فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ جَمِيعًا، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ جَمِيعًا".
