Chapter on the virtue of reciting calmly (Tum'ina) in prayer

باب: في فضل التأمين

Sunan al-Darimi 1279

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When the imam says: 'Ghair-il maghdubi 'alaihim wa la 'd-dallin (not of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray),' then you people say, 'Ameen,' for if anyone's utterance of 'Ameen' coincides with that of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven."

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب قاری «غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ» کہے تو جو اس کے پیچھے (نمازی) ہیں وہ آمین کہیں، اور یہ آمین آسمان والوں کے ساتھ موافقت کر گئی تو اس کے پچھلے تمام گناہ معاف کر دیئے جائیں گے۔“

Sayyidina Abu Hurairah Radi Allah Anhu ne kaha: Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jab qari "Ghair-il-maghdubi alaihim walad-dalleen" kahe to jo iske peeche (namazi) hain woh aameen kahen, aur yeh aameen aasman walon ke sath muwafqat kar gai to iske pichhle tamam gunah maaf kar diye jayenge."

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِذَا قَالَ الْقَارِئُ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7، فَقَالَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ: آمِينَ، فَوَافَقَ ذَلِكَ أَهْلَ السَّمَاءِ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ".

Sunan al-Darimi 1280

Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the Imam says 'Ghairil Maghdubi Alaihim Walad-Dallin' (not of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray) then you should say 'Ameen', for the angels say 'Ameen' and the Imam also says 'Ameen'. So whoever's 'Ameen' coincides with the 'Ameen' of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven."


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ اللہ کے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب امام «غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ» پڑھے تو تم آمین کہو، اس لئے کہ فرشتے بھی آمین کہتے ہیں اور امام بھی آمین کہتا ہے، پس جس کا آمین کہنا فرشتوں کے آمین کہنے سے موافقت کر گیا اس کے پچھلے تمام گناہ معاف کر دیئے جائیں گے۔“

Sayyidna Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ki Allah ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jab imam 'Ghairil Maghdubi Alaihim Walad Dalleen' padhe to tum ameen kaho, is liye ki farishte bhi ameen kehte hain aur imam bhi ameen kehta hai, pas jis ka ameen kehna farishton ke ameen kehne se muwafqat kar gaya us ke pichhle tamam gunah maaf kar diye jayenge."

أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَامُ: غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا الضَّالِّينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 7 فَقُولُوا: آمِينَ، فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تَقُولُ: آمِينَ، وَإِنَّ الْإِمَامَ يَقُولُ: آمِينَ، فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ".
