Chapter: Virtue of sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace be upon him.

باب: في فضل الصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Sunan al-Darimi 2807

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever sends one salutation upon me, Allah will send ten blessings and mercies upon him.”


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص ایک مرتبہ میرے لئے درود و سلام بھیجے گا اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر دس بار رحمتیں نازل فرمائے گا۔“

Sayyidna Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Jo shakhs ek martaba mere liye durood o salam bhejega Allah Ta'ala uss par das bar rehmaten nazil farmayega.“

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً وَاحِدَةً، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا".

Sunan al-Darimi 2808

Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came, and his face was beaming with happiness. It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! We see on your face the glow of happiness that we have not seen before." He said: "Yes, an angel came to me and said: 'O Muhammad! Your Lord says: 'Are you not pleased that I will send ten blessings upon whoever sends one blessing upon you, and I will send ten greetings upon whoever sends one greeting upon you?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I said: 'Yes (indeed, I am pleased).'"


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا ابوطلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: ایک دن نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لائے تو آپ ﷺ کا چہرہ خوشی سے چمک رہا تھا، عرض کیا گیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم آپ کے چہرے پر خوشی کی دمک دیکھ رہے ہیں، جو ہم نے پہلے نے نہیں دیکھی؟ فرمایا: ”ہاں، ایک فرشتہ میرے پاس آیا اور مجھ سے کہا: اے محمد! آپ کا رب فرماتا ہے: کیا آپ راضی نہیں ہوتے اس سے کہ جو آپ پر ایک بار درود بھیجے گا میں اس پر دس بار رحمتیں بھیجوں گا، اور جو آپ پر (ایک بار) سلام کرے گا میں اس پر دس بار سلامتی نازل کروں گا۔“ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں نے کہا: ہاں (یقیناً میں خوش ہوؤں گا)۔“

Sayyidina Abu Talha (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Ek din Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laaye to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka chehra khushi se chamak raha tha, arz kiya gaya: Ya Rasulullah! hum aap ke chehre par khushi ki damak dekh rahe hain, jo humne pehle ne nahi dekhi? Farmaya: "Haan, ek farishta mere paas aaya aur mujhse kaha: Aye Muhammad! Aap ka Rab farmata hai: kya aap razi nahi hote iss se ki jo aap par ek baar durood bhejega main uss par dus baar rehmaten bhejunga, aur jo aap par (ek baar) salam karega main uss par dus baar salamti nazil karunga." Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Maine kaha: Haan (yaqeenan main khush hounga)."

(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا وَهُوَ يُرَى الْبِشْرُ فِي وَجْهِهِ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّا نَرَى فِي وَجْهِكَ بِشْرًا لَمْ نَكُنْ نَرَاهُ؟، قَالَ:"أَجَلْ، إِنَّ مَلَكًا أَتَانِي، فَقَالَ لِي: يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقُولُ لَكَ: أَمَا يُرْضِيكَ أَنْ لَا يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ، إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا، وَلَا يُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْكَ، إِلَّا سَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا؟، قَالَ: قُلْتُ:"بَلَى".

Sunan al-Darimi 2809

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah Almighty has some angels who roam around the earth and convey the Salam (greetings of peace) of my Ummah (nation) to me.”


Grade: Sahih

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ کے کچھ فرشتے ہیں جو زمین پر پھرا کرتے ہیں اور میری امت کا سلام مجھ تک پہنچاتے ہیں۔“

Saina Abdullah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Allah Ta'ala ke kuch farishtey hain jo zameen par phira karte hain aur meri ummat ka salam mujh tak pahuchaate hain."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَلَائِكَةً سَيَّاحِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يُبَلِّغُونِي عَنْ أُمَّتِي السَّلَامَ".
