Sunan al-Darimi 1780
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to a man, "Did you fast at the end of this month?" He said, "No." He said, "When you have finished fasting Ramadan, then fast two days at the end of the month." Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: By «Sarrah» is meant the end.

سیدنا عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک شخص سے کہا: ”کیا تم نے اس مہینے کے آخر میں روزہ رکھا؟“ عرض کیا: نہیں، فرمایا: ”جب تم رمضان کے روزے رکھ چکو تو مہینے کے آخر میں دو روزے رکھ لو۔“ امام دارمی رحمہ اللہ نے کہا: «سرره» سے مراد آخرہ ہے۔
Sayyidina Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek shakhs se kaha: ''kia tumne is mahine ke akhir mein roza rakha?'' Arz kia: nahi, farmaya: ''jab tum Ramzan ke roze rakh chuko to mahine ke akhir mein do roze rakh lo.'' Imam Darmi Rahmatullah Alaih ne kaha: ''sirri'' se murad akhira hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ:"هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سَرَرِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ؟"فَقَالَ: لَا. قَالَ: "إِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ". قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد: سَرَرُهُ: آخِرُهُ.
