Sunan al-Darimi 2083
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a bowl full of Thareed was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Eat from its sides, do not eat from the middle, because the blessing descends in the middle."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس ثرید سے بھرا ہوا ایک پیالہ (تھالی) لایا گیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اس کے کناروں سے کھاؤ، بیچ سے نہ کھاؤ کیونکہ برکت بیچ میں نازل ہوتی ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass sarid se bhara hua ek piyala (thali) laya gaya to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Is ke kinaron se khao, beech se na khao kyunki barkat beech mein nazil hoti hai."
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِجَفْنَةٍ، أَوْ قَالَ: قَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ فَقَالَ: "كُلُوا مِنْ حَافَاتِهَا أَوْ قَالَ: جَوَانِبِهَا وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسَطِهَا، فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهَا".
