Sunan al-Darimi 29
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, heard about the sinking of the earth, so he said: “We used to consider miracles as blessings, you consider them as a cause of fear. Once we were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when the water ran out. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Whoever has water left, let him bring it.' So a little water was brought, which you, peace and blessings be upon him, put in a vessel, then you, peace and blessings be upon him, placed your blessed hand on it, and the water began to gush out between your fingers (like a fountain). Then you, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Come to the blessed water, and the blessing is from Allah Almighty.' Then we all drank water.” Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “We used to hear the glorification of food while eating it.”

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے زمین کے دھنس جانے کے بارے میں سنا تو فرمایا: معجزات کو ہم باعث برکت گردانتے تھے، تم ان کو باعث خوف سمجھتے ہو، ایک مرتبہ ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے کہ پانی ختم ہو گیا، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جس کے پاس پانی بچا ہو اسے تلاش کرو“، چنانچہ تھوڑا سا پانی لایا گیا، جس کو آپ ﷺ نے برتن میں ڈال دیا، پھر اپنا دست مبارک اس پر رکھ دیا اور پانی آپ کی انگلیوں کے درمیان سے (فوارے کی طرح) پھوٹنے لگا، پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”برکت والے پانی کی طرف آؤ اور برکت تو الله تعالی ہی کی طرف سے ہے“، پھر ہم سب نے پانی پیا۔ سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا ہم کھانا کھاتے وقت کھانے کی تسبیح سنا کرتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Masood Raziallahu Anhu ne zameen ke dhans jaane ke baare mein suna to farmaya: Mujizat ko hum baais barkat gardaante the, tum in ko baais khauf samajhte ho, ek martaba hum Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah the ke paani khatam ho gaya, Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jis ke paas paani bacha ho use talaash karo", chunanche thoda sa paani laya gaya, jis ko aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bartan mein daal diya, phir apna dast mubarak is par rakh diya aur paani aap ki ungliyon ke darmiyaan se (fawaare ki tarah) phootne laga, phir aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Barkat waale paani ki taraf aao aur barkat to Allah Ta'ala hi ki taraf se hai", phir hum sab ne paani piya. Sayyidna Abdullah bin Masood Raziallahu Anhu ne kaha hum khana khaate waqt khane ki tasbeeh suna karte the.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِخَسْفٍ، فَقَالَ: كُنَّا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعُدُّ الْآيَاتِ بَرَكَةً، وَأَنْتُمْ تَعُدُّونَهَا تَخْوِيفًا، إِنَّا بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ولَيْسَ مَعَنَا مَاءٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "اطْلُبُوا مَنْ مَعَهُ فَضْلُ مَاءٍ"،"فَأُتِيَ بِمَاءٍ، فَصَبَّهُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ كَفَّهُ فِيهِ، فَجَعَلَ الْمَاءُ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَصَابِعِهِ"، ثُمَّ قَالَ:"حَيَّ عَلَى الطَّهُورِ الْمُبَارَكِ، وَالْبَرَكَةُ مِنْ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى"، فَشَرِبْنَا، وقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ تَسْبِيحَ الطَّعَامِ وَهُوَ يُؤْكَلُ.
